Amazing bagels! I tried the one with pâté & brie - so good. & finally, a place that serves a proper large cup of Americano (not the tiny ones you usually get). Cozy little café, perfect for a tasty breakfast

Arrivé à 16h15 en semaine. Toutes les chaises sont remontées sur les tables & le commis avise direct que la cuisine est fermée. Curieux, je vérifie, ça ferme à 17h00 !!!
Un gars fait des bagels derrière & un autre fait le'service'. Le ton est correct sans être cordial.
Sur un ton désintéressé, on m'explique que tout ce qu'il y a de dispo est dans le présentoir réfrigéré. D'accord, je regarde. Les prix sont excessifs... juste un petit sandwich fancy avec deux tranches de viande & une de fromage 12$ + tx. Il est bon mais ne vaut jamais ce prix là...

Pour avoir travaillé en restauration, je n'ai jamais vu ça. Si un client se présentait avant la fermeture (ici plus de 45 min avant) on relançait les plaques & on lui préparait ce qu'il demandait.

Bref, cher & pas très accueillant comme endroit...
J'y suis allé deux fois en fin de journée en semaine & les deux fois, l'atmosphère est spéciale. On a l'impression de déranger.

Belle place. Très bon.
Cependant en attendant notre bagel-café dimanche matin, nous avons vu un employé, homme, échappé un bagel sur le sol & le remettre dans le bac avec les autres bagel (en cachette). Peut-être renforcer les normes d'hygiène.
