Le repas thai au tofu qui se dit être végétarien a de la sauce au poisson/aux fruits de mer. Ce n'est pas marqué nulle part & quand on dit végétarien sans plus de précisions, les gens comprennent ovo-lacto-végétarien. Le poisson n'est pas considéré dans un régime'végétarien' ni les fruits de mer. Sinon il faut preciser pesco-végétarien.
Là je crains que mes symptômes vont empirer & je doive conduire seule à l'hôpital ou appeler une ambulance. & comme mentionné au Monsieur Sao, j'ai vu sur Google reviews que je ne suis pas la seule qui a vécu cette situation. Il a été compréhensif & gentil mais ça me règle pas le problème que mon état de santé détériore, même si j'en ai mangé 2 petites bouchées seulement. Il faut être clairs & bien préciser dans votre menu.
Je mange énormément dans des restaurants asiatiques & c'est la première fois que cela m'arrive. & oui, si rien n'est marqué je pose toujours la question car je suis consciente que ce sont des ingrédients souvent utilisés dans la cuisine asiatique mais si je lis végétarien, je suppose que c'est safe pour moi.
Au moins, Sao a été très compréhensif & a accepté de me rembourser le tout (puis Doordash aussi), mais ça reste que je ne mangerai plus rien dans la soirée parce que je me sens mal.
Probably my favorite meal in Quebec!! My husband found this place & it was amaaaazing!!

The guy who took our order was very nice! We ordered the Le Saang & Pad Singapour.
The Le Saang was a rice dish with the BEST flavored sauce! I ordered mine with chicken. The sauce makes you want to eat all the rice&chicken&veggies!! I gobbled my plate up because I could not put down my chopsticks! It was THAT good!
Pad Singapour was a spicy (very mild) noodle dish. The curry sauce was yummy & complimented tofu & chicken well! I am so glad we ordered this dish as well!
If this was closer to our hotel, would def go back!! Highly recommend!!
I visited with my parents because the menu showed several vegetarian options. However, when I ordered my dish, I could immediately taste fish sauce. I asked, & the staff confirmed it did contain fish sauce. When I raised the issue with the waitress, she mentioned that'some vegetarians eat fish sauce,' but I explained that this isn't accurate-pescatarians may eat fish, but vegetarians do not.
The staff did remake my meal at no extra cost, which I appreciated, & overall the food was enjoyable. That's why I'm still giving a positive rating.
That said, I want to echo what others have noted: if a dish contains fish sauce, it should not be labeled vegetarian. The labeling is misleading for both vegetarians & vegans.

Ordered takeout. The food was very good. I ordered the Singapore noodles with extra hot sauce & was very happy with it. Our order took a while to process, so order ahead of time!
Boeuf Saolin très bof. Le boeuf était trop pâteux, la sauce avait un manque de goût & je ne pas pourquoi mais il y a comme une arôme de fruit loops dans le plat. Peut être l'orange? Bref prenez tout sauf ça
Best Pad Thai I've ever had! Beautiful flavors & very fresh food. Make sure to get both the peanut sauce & chili oil. They also have amazing vegan & vegetarian options - just ask!
Cadre magnifique & service au top. Belle sélection de vin également. Par contre très déçu par la cuisine. Connaissant très bien la cuisine du Cambodge on en est vraiment très loin. Sauce liquide & pas beaucoup de goût. Même en demandant très très pimenté bah ça piquait pas du tout. Cuisine asiatique beaucoup trop américanisé pour moi malheureusement.
Awesome service! We took a chance & went without reservations & they took us in at the bar. The barman was super chill & not intrusive in his interactions..just a damn good barman. Made us some special drinks he created on the spot & they did the job! Our food was fantastic...decent portions but not heavy. Fresh ingredients & very tasty sauces. Food may have taken some time to come but if your on a date your not looking at your watch. It was very reasonnable wait considering it was Friday 7pm (March 8th). Lots of seating in dining room...nice decor & ambiance...it was surprisingly not loud either..one can maintain a conversation very easily. Waiters checked up on us from time to timeand kept topping up our water. Really great experience overall so i highly recommend! Keep up the nice work gang! The wife & i will be back at our next Quebec trip! Ps: you do need to find parking in nearby streets but its the case for any business you visit in the area. This place is woth the trouble.
The restaurant has 2 section : one for dine in & one for takeout. The takeout menu is much cheaper. There is only 1 table at takeout counter. The other one is more luxury-Restaurant combined bar. Space is small so highly recommended for booking advance. Pad Thai tastes great . However stir fry beef with rice is extremely salty. The sauce is so salty that we have to order many rice bowls to finish it. Recommended to order takeout only.
Good Asian food if you’ve never had Asian food before.
Luc lac beef was very chewy & overcooked. It came in a strange soupy sauce with cold tomatoes on the side. Not close to authentic luc lac at all, which is Vietnamese & not Cambodian.
The Tao chicken is just sesame chicken & also not Cambodian or Thai. It was oddly too sweet. Honestly Panda Express is better.
They prioritize takeout orders so if you want your food in less than an hour, do takeout & don’t sit at a table. There were five tables outside with people, & we watched 30-40 takeout orders complete before we got our food. Many of those orders were from walk ups.
We didn’t even get a refill of water & the only status update from the waiter was that the food is coming soon. It did not come “soon.”
