A thoroughly enjoyable experience! Everything from the atmosphere to the staff to the food was a pleasure. Although it was a busy Friday evening right before the holidays, we felt the service was very attentive. Look forward to a return trip here!

Our second visit was somewhat disappointing. Being of Italian descent, the pasta Bolognese is a complete MIS-NOMER ... it was NOT a Bolognese sauce at all [a Bolognese sauce is comprised of chopped meat (a combination of beef, veal, pork) with a small amount of finely chopped carrot & other seasonings in a tomato base] ... what was served was spaghetti & very hard meat balls in a not-so-good tomato sauce! The quality of the beef carpaccio was excellent (as it was the 1st time) BUT too much stuff (including vinegar doused chopped mushrooms) is served over it ... it should be a much more delicate dish [beef carpaccio on the plate (no greens under it) decorated with a small amount of finely shaved (not grated) parmesan or Romano cheese; some watercress (undressed) in center; extra-virgin olive oil or truffle oil over top ... & THAT'S IT!] With two tables (later 3) dining at an off-hour in the afternoon service should have been attentive to a fault ... but it was more like we were intruding. Sorry to say that Bello will not be on my list of restaurants to visit when next I travel to Quebec City. I don't like writing reviews like this but I'm hoping the chef & the management will read it.

Every year in December we visit Quebec City,& our first stop is Bello's. Excellent & attentive service matched only by their exquisite Italian cuisine. A must visit in picturesque Old Quebec.

We had a 6:30 reservation & were promptly seated. We enjoyed the Antipasto for 2. There was so much that we couldn't finish. We enjoyed the Italian cold meats, arancini, olives, salmon & capresi salad & mozzarella. Our entrees were the veal medallions & seafood risotto. Everything was excellent. After supper I enjoyed Il Fiamatto Bello coffee prepared tableside. The servers were very attentive. The owner also made an appearance at our table. It was a very enjoyable eveing & I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed our meal immensely. The staff was attentive & the restaurant ambiance is very pleasant. Would not hesitate to eat here again or recommend.

We had three different pastas ( carbonara, Gorgonzola , & linguine with clams. All were fabulous. I had the 3 cheese risotto which was so rich & wonderful coming with a crisp salad on the side to balance the rich cheeses. The arancini & buffalo mozzarella appetizers were quite good as well. Pleasant attentive staff. Highly recommend.

Our second time to Bello on this trip to Quebec City- took our business associates for dinner- lovely table - delicious pasta dishes- 2 nice bottles of wine for the group. Service was good- even though they were quite busy (always a good sign)- they were friendly & attentive! Love the ambiance as well- quite a hit!

a great meal for the family. Upscale enough to feel special but not stuffy for the kids (aged 15 & 11). service was very attentive & food was excellent. Highly recommend.

Wow! This place is awesome, We had made reservations at 6:30 & as soon as we sat down the place got packed. The staff were outstanding, bustling around, very attentive. We both had risotto. I had the large scallop risotto & it was cooked perfectly...so delicious. Atmosphere is very nice, but not quiet, but of course the restaurant was full. The best meal we have had here so far. You will not regret going here. A real treat.
