Abbiamo mangiato la pizza. Pasta buon livello cotta a legna, mozzarella buona peccato per il pomodoro che invece di essere semplice pomodoro come vorrebbe una margherita ma era una salsa agliata (solo la marinara ha l'aglio… non nella salsa ma a fettine)… peccato. Servizio ottimo, non ci hanno fatto pagare una birra perché avevano sbagliato a spillare la marca giusta.

We had a really lovely dinner at Bello, tucked away in a quiet & charming part of Old Quebec. We asked to sit on the terrace & were lucky to get a spot-it was such a nice atmosphere, especially with a chilled bottle of rosé to go with it. The view from the terrace honestly gave off European vibes, which totally fits since Quebec City often feels like a slice of Europe in Canada.

They brought out warm, house-made bread rolls with oil & vinegar to start, which was a great way to kick things off. The menu is a nice mix of French & Italian dishes. We shared a really good beef tartare to start, then I had their house lasagna. My daughter, who's obsessed with spice, was thrilled that they had chili flakes & chili oil she could add to her pasta.

Dessert ended up being one of the best parts-which is rare! We tried the wildberry tart, & it was delicious.

Another bonus: the restaurant's close to the heart of Old Quebec, so after dinner we had a nice walk through the historic streets to end the night. Bello would be a great spot for either a cozy date night or a relaxed family dinner.

The food service & atmosphere were all equal in every way. We were a little early for our reservation but they were able to accommodate us without making us feel like we were inconveniencing them. The food was cooked perfectly & everything the waiter suggested ended up being big hits. The bolognese pasta is by far one of the best meals I had while I was in Quebec City. I would definitely suggest making a reservation as this seems to be a local hit.

Charming Italian spot with excellent food - we were pleasantly surprised by the menu - there were tons of options, mostly traditional, but definitely some fun, contemporary dishes too. Server was very helpful & made some great recommendations. I had the cuddlefish-ink seafood pasta which was perfect, & my fellow diners had the ahi tuna (unexpected & fabulous!) & veal dishes. Don't skip the bread for the table, sit back & enjoy some wine while you decide on your meal!

Pasta is cooked well & has good flavor. Not too salty, which is rare. Had what has to have been the driest lime I've ever had lol. Good value for money

Do not dine here! Overpriced tourist trap. The restaurant is beautifully decorated & has a lovely atmosphere but those are the only positives. Our dinner entrées arrived before our drinks, which had all been ordered at the same time, this is completely unacceptable for a'fine dining' establishment. I ordered the pasta bolognese which is one of my favorite dishes, it was the worst I have ever had. The bowl was burning hot like it was sitting under heat lamps for too long & the sauce was cooked into the pasta leaving it very dry. After a few bites I let the server know that the bolognese was not good & he offered to get something else for me, but I was completely put off at this point & declined. I specifically asked to have a box & he took my dish to the back & boxed it for me meaning that I had to throw it away as I cannot trust someone taking my food out of sight after a complaint. He smugly charged full price for bad food & bad service & did not care at all. An absolute embarrassment!

Handmade pasta, excellent service, plenty of options for vegetarians & even gluten free pasta upon request! The garlic bread had cheese inside & was insanely good. Saturday night off season quite crowded- reservation recommended (or sit outside with heaters).

Atmosphere is very nice & the table bread is great (although not complimentary, & they don't tell you). Unfortunately the pasta dishes were not exemplary & thus did not match their prices.

Friend got food poisoning from clam pasta dish.

Made reservation for 7 people for Saturday, February 8th at 8:30pm. One friend ordered a clam pasta dish & had horrible food poisoning about 4 hours after. The rest of us liked our food, but no one else ordered the clams.

I wouldn't necessarily avoid this restaurant because it is popular & generally has good food but I would not order any sea food here.

We ended up here on our first night in Quebec City & it was the best experience! The pasta & pizzas were amazing & the waiters were all so friendly & kind. Skip the other tourist traps around here (cough couch Polina pizzeria) & go here instead! We would definitely go back if ever back in the area.
