Great place with great service, we were constantly attended to especially as our party had kids & that was much appreciated. We had several dishes, as the appetizers; the calamari (good portion & very good), the arancini (good), & in the mains; the Margherita pizza (good but a bit salty), the pan fried cod risotto (very tasty), the tagliatelle funghi (extremely tasty & our favourite) & the linguine alle vongole (very good). Finally their tiramisu was great & highly recommended. Plenty of seating inside with fine dining vibes, the back of the restaurant was even better, which was exposed to the sun & wind blowing in. Thanks!

Très beau resto belle ambiance & très bonne nourriture. Le carpaccio de veau tendre délicieux que dire de la pizza Margarita des souvenirs de mon dernier voyage en Italie. WoW. A l'accueil Louis très professionnel & a répondu a nos multiples demandes avec un grand sourire bravo . Notre serveur Devon qui connaît très bien le menu & les vins bel accord avec le vin Montepulciano ambruzzo courtois souriant & qui a pris le temps de nous jaser malgré l achalandage. Bravo. Des employés comme eux vous voulez bien les apprécier. Merci

My husband & I are visiting from out of province. We brought our dog with us this time on our trip. We were looking for an Italian restaurant that did Take-Out! (As many restaurants do not-which can be challenging) We came across Bello & I am so happy we ordered from here. We ordered the Cesar Salad for 2, the Rigatoni Pasta Carbonara & the Pizza Al Funghi! Everything was $118 & worth every dollar! The flavor & the freshness were amazzzzzzzzing! I highly recommend it! While waiting for my food at the restaurante I saw a group of 4 who had a reservation come in. The staff member let them know their table will be ready in 5 minutes. While they waited, the hostess served them a glass of champagne! Like that's what you call class & service done well! I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know who may be visiting Quebec city!

very mixed feeling about this place. apps (steak tartare & onion soup) were very good, but we were disappointed by the mains. for a place that has an entire section in the menu dedicated to risotto, I think what we got (a risotto cacio&pepe & a duck + foie gras) was everything but exceptional. while the taste was ok, the texture was completely wrong, rice was slightly overcooked, too watery & not creamy as a real risotto is supposed to be. it almost seems that they used a variety of rice with lower starch content. Given the price, reviews, & popularity of this restaurant, I was expecting much more. I just hope whoever claims this is the best risotto they ever had will eventually have the chance to taste a real one...

Great option in Quebec. Food was all prepared well & tasted great. I would agree with a couple other people that service could be a little more timely & attentive but we have certainly encountered worse. Give it a try

A good friend recommended that we make a reservation for dinner. Which is a good idea ahead of time. We were taken in right away & the atmosphere surrounded us right away. Our server was Daevon. He was absolutely the best server I have ever experienced. He was so attentive & friendly & yes English is spoken. As well as Daevon, so was Maxine! She was very attentive, our water was always filled. The both of them work well together as we watch them both work together at setting up other tables as the night went on. My husband & I surely enjoyed our experience at IL Bello. From the starter cocktails to the end with an espresso & digestive, the entire evening was a delight. We shared the Capesante Al Pastis - scallops flambeed. Hubby had the Tagliatelle All' Anatra - pasta & duck confit. I had the Rissotto Al Gameretto - rice rosotto with tiger shrimp in a white wine sauce. All dishes were over the top & the portions were just perfect. Absolutely recommended this resturant. Very impressed & very satisfied!! Chef kiss.
