Great meal. We enjoyed their pizza & Tiramisu, which we shared & wished I had one on my own. The Tiramisu was served in a cup & saucer...so cute & delicious! Our hotel doorman recommended it & I am glad he did!
La lasagne était un vrai régal : belle portion, savoureuse & généreuse. Un peu salée à mon goût, mais franchement succulente.
J'ai même acheté deux pointes de pizza pour le lendemain tellement j'avais apprécié. Elles étaient aussi un peu salées - probablement la sauce tomate - mais ça restait très bon & plein de goût.

?À peine le voyageur a-t-il franchi le seuil de ce temple des saveurs qu'il se trouve subjugué par des charmes dignes du pinceau des plus grands maîtres. Une lumière douce & tamisée s'échappe des abat-jour élégants & de la flamme frissonnante des bougies, lesquelles dansent sur les tables pour parer les lieux d'une pénombre si propice aux coeurs épris. Ici, dans cette ombre délicate, les lèvres peuvent s'unir en un baiser sans craindre les regards profanes, car l'atmosphère elle-même murmure des secrets de confidence.

?Sur les tables se joue un véritable opéra de la gastronomie, où chaque ingrédient s'élève telle une diva :
?Pâtes aux fruits de mer & son jaune d'oeuf doré : Une symphonie de fraîcheur océane, scellée par l'union veloutée d'une sauce d'une infinie délicatesse.
?Abondance de viandes & champignons des bois : Un plat imprégné de la puissance de la terre & des parfums sylvestres, offrant au gentilhomme une satiété royale (pour la modique somme de 35$, ce qui est une grâce insigne pour un tel présent).
?Tiramisu : Un final de douceur, fondant sur la langue tel un nuage dérivant au-dessus de Rome.

?Les nymphes de cet établissement - de superbes Françaises - accueillent les hôtes avec une courtoisie hors du commun. Bien que les salles fussent aussi bondées qu'une place publique un jour de fête, leur sagacité & leur maîtrise de la langue anglaise nous ont permis de trouver refuge sans délai. Leurs paroles sont douces & leur maintien, irréprochable.
?La musique à la « Bottega » s'écoule comme un ruisseau : un DJ habile & des instruments vivants tissent des entrelacs de sons qui ne troublent point la conversation, mais élèvent l'âme. C'est le palais idéal pour les rendez-vous galants, où chaque instant est imprégné d'un chic européen souverain.

The Harlem pizza was fantastic! A fluffy crust & perfectly cooked. We dipped it in the Pesto Cream sauce that came with the gnocchi... I'll be dreaming of this meal!
Vraiment excellent ! J'ai pris les tagliatelles aux champignons & je n'ai jamais été aussi satisfaite de mon choix de plat. Dommage que je soit trop timide j'aurais pu demander un bout de pain pour saucer mon assiette. J'en veux en intraveineuse.
Quebec welcomed us with the greatest weather ever with blue clear sky, bright sunshine, cooled down by dry & breezy wind. The shop arranged a table for 6 of us indoor, but it'd be such a waste to stay inside in this weather so we asked to move & were happily accommodated.
We ordered so much, from panini, salad, to all types of pasta & then a pizza.
I really thought panini is supposed to be flattened & toasted so was surprised to see its form here. It sandwiched a thick piece of crumbed fried cheese, with some red orange spread that I could not tell how it was made. Personally I think it was hard to eat because it was dry & with little flavor profile but my husband who ordered liked it, so that was what mattered.
Both pasta for the meatball bolognese & lasagna was cooked nicely. I just think maybe it's the marinara sauce that was a bit too salty. Gnocchi on the other hand was soft, pillowy, drown in creamy pesto sauce that was so flavorful. Personally I think this was the best item.
The salad was fun, full of colors & flavors. The pizza dough was a bit doughy & cake-kier than how napoli pizza usually is. The mushroom on top was masterpiece though. Tip is to dip the pizza crust into the unfinished pesto sauce of the gnocchi & it's perfect.
If there's one thing to make this place stand out it's their arancini. Have it in the restaurant so that you can enjoy it in their amazing tomato sauce! The pizza was also very good & reasonably cheap for a quick bite to eat.
Fantastic! The sauce took me right back to my childhood-it tastes just like my mom's, rich & full of flavor. The pasta was cooked to perfection, & the cannolis? Spectacular! To top it all off, the chef personally came out to greet our table, which made the experience even more special. You can truly feel the passion in every dish. Can't wait to come back next time we're in town.
