L'accueil de l'hôtesse & de la serveuse étaient impeccables .Elles ont été particulièrement attentionnées. En ce qui me concerne les petits pains pour les oeufs bénédictines étaient très durs. Les autres convives ont apprécié leur plats ( l'assiette Café du monde ,pain doré & bénédictines avec saumon fumé). Pour ce qui est de l'ambiance, très bruyant.
J'ai aimé ka belle vue sur le fleuve, beau cadre & propre.le stationnement est payant, la cuisine est singulière au restaurant café du monde. on a eu de belles recommandations de plats de la part de celle qui s occupait de nous. merci
Le Café du Monde a beaucoup changé depuis mes premières visites. Personnellement, je trouve que les prix sont maintenant assez élevés par rapport à l'expérience culinaire offerte. D'autres clients pourraient avoir une opinion différente, mais ce n'est plus tout à fait ce que j'appréciais auparavant.

I recently visited Café du Monde for dinner & found both the restaurant's standard & service to be highly questionable.
We ordered a medium-rare steak that arrived well-cooked, & when I questioned it, the waitress was dismissive & insisted the dish was correct.
Although they did eventually remake the steak, the initial reaction & how we were treated ruined the dining experience, making it feel like they didn't value us as customers. We still left a tip because we believe in compensating for service, but the overall experience was deeply disappointing & left a very negative impression of the restaurant.
Stumbled in here on a rainy Tuesday afternoon after a long walk through the old city, & the place immediately felt like exactly what a good cafe should be. The cappuccino was properly made, none of that over-extracted bitterness you find in tourist-trap spots nearby, & the croque-monsieur that came out of the kitchen was genuinely satisfying. Staff were attentive without hovering, refilling my water without being asked, which is a small thing but tells you a lot about how a place is run. If you find yourself near the Old Port on a grey afternoon, this is where you want to be sitting.

Le service est attentif & généreux. J'ai apprécié les suggestions de Benjamin. La salade de betteraves est une pure merveille & mérite, à elle seule, une visite au Café du Monde. Le tartare de boeuf est, selon moi, un peu sec, mais tout de même agréable. J'y retournerai & je recommande!

Maryse notre serveuse a fait un service impeccable, personnalisé & chaleureux tout en faisant des suggestions succulentes . C'est une professionnelle & une employée de métier. Chapeau Maryse ! Belle continuation & salutation au collègue Benoît lors de son retour au resto !
Déçus de mon expérience au Café du Monde. Nous étions un groupe de 9 personnes pour déjeuner. À la réception de mon assiette, mes oeufs étaient froids. Je l'ai signalé à la serveuse après en avoir pris quelques bouchées, & elle m'a répondu qu'elle allait les faire refaire.
À mon grand étonnement, mon assiette est revenue avec les mêmes oeufs, simplement réchauffés. Le reste (pommes de terre & fèves au lard) était à peine tiède. Très décevant pour un déjeuner à 18 $.
De plus, au moins trois autres personnes de notre groupe ont aussi trouvé que leur repas n'était pas assez chaud.
A warm, inviting stop in the Old Port, Le Café du Monde delivered exactly the kind of morning I was hoping for. The view over the Saint?Laurent River set the tone right away calm, bright, & beautiful enough to make you linger a little longer than planned.
The food matched the setting. The pain dorée with fruits was comforting without being heavy, & the other meal we ordered was on the healthier side & balanced things out perfectly. The coffee stood out even more: rich, smooth, & surprisingly included in the price of the plate, which felt like a small victory in a world where refills usually come with a surcharge.
Service tied everything together. Our waiter was friendly, attentive without hovering, & genuinely added to the experience.
A place worth returning to, especially if you want good food with a great view & a relaxed atmosphere.
