AFFAMÉS D’HISTOIRE?

Le 160, rue Saint-Paul s’est toujours avéré un lieu où les ingrédients et le service de qualité supérieurs font la loi. Fondé en 1860 par Narcisse Rioux, le magasin général Chez Rioux & Pettigrew fournissait aux restaurateurs, aux épiciers, aux hôpitaux et aux communautés religieuses une grande variété de produits locaux ou d’importation.

Barils de mélasse, poches de farine, sucre, gruau, fruits et légumes en conserves, épices, noix, raisins secs, chocolat, bonbons présentés sur des étalages… On y trouvait même de l’alcool jusqu’à la création de la Commission des liqueurs en 1921!

Amazing! It's been my 8 time at this restaurant & they amaze me every time. The beef tartare is one of the best I've had. Lobster & shrimp cake is really tasty, specially the broth. Service is outstanding! Everyone super friendly & the fact that you can pass through the kitchen is so cool. Everyone is very welcoming.

Vsiting from California & had a lovely brunch at CR&P. Food was delicious & different from the myriad other Québécois cuisine we enjoyed during the rest of our stay. Excellent service, & a fair price for all the food we got. Definitely recommend!

Encore une magnifique expérience gastronomique un petit vendredi midi dans le Vieux-Québec. Service professionnel, courtois & sympathique. Excellent rapport qualité prix pour un dîner. Beau choix de vins au verre & à la bouteille. Un savoir-faire remarquable & plein de saveurs. Une décoration superbe & un lieu convivial & chaleureux. Je vous le recommande fortement sans hésiter!

Rien à dire de négatif sur le lieu, l'ambiance, le service & la nourriture.
Tous les éléments étaient réunis pour passer un excellent moment.
Les plats étaient tous excellents. Le service était parfait. Le lieu, magnifique.

We enjoyed the tasting menu, which was fabulous. The wait staff were highly professional yet warm & accessible. The atmosphere was charming &, although fully occupied, the noise level was fine. It's the best meal I've had in a long time.

This place is amazing from all aspects , the highlight of our night definitely has to be our waiter, Simon, who was so accommodating & gave us great recommendations of the food & about the city. The food was top tier, you get the full experience from starters to dessert. The menu is simple but each item is more delicious than the other.
