Nous étions un groupe de 11 personnes pour souligner un anniversaire & tout le monde, du plus petit au plus grand, a été très satisfait du repas. De plus, on nous avait emménagé un petit coin du restaurant, de telle sorte qu'on ne dérangeait personne. Nous fréquentons le Café du Monde depuis 50 ans, nous continuerons à le fréquenter & nous le recommandons.
Le 31 décembre 2025, nous sommes allés déjeuner au Café du Monde. Ce restaurant est très chaleureux, sympathique & illuminé, avec une vue imprenable sur le fleuve St Laurent. Mon conjoint a pris l'assiette de l'Artisan. Pour ma part, j'ai pris un déjeuner classique. Le tout avec le choix de mimosa à l'orange, à la pamplemousse ou à la poire.
Mon conjoint a adoré son déjeuner & moi aussi. Le mélange du boudin noir avec l'oeuf bénédictine était délicieux. Les assiettes étaient généreuses, les fèves au lard avaient été préparées de façon traditionnelle & le jambon effiloché & les rillettes fondaient dans la bouche. Même les rôties (pain multigrain maison) & la confiture de fraises étaient savoureuses!
L'expérience fut tellement agréable que nous nous sommes promis d'y retourner bientôt.

Le Café du Monde est toujours une expérience agréable & succulente! Vue magnifique, plats bien arrangés & délicieux (merci à la cuisine), service hors pair de Mylaine R. & ses collèques !!! L'assiette Artisan est très recommandable pour le petit déjeuner !!!
La rencontre amicale de notre groupe de chant a été une réussite totale grâce à votre accueil, votre excellente carte & un serveur tellement gentil, courtois & très professionnel. Le Café du Monde is by far one of the best culinary experiences we've ever had. The restaurant is gorgeous, & the service was impeccable. Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed, checked in after every course to see how we were enjoying our food, & was always available for any questions. She even pointed out some of the best sellers to help us decide.
The food was a-ma-zing. We started with the fried calamari; the dipping sauce was finger-licking good, & the breading was light & not greasy. The beet salad with creamy goat cheese was a perfect combination of flavors.
For the main course, we had fresh ricotta ravioli & duck confit. The duck was cooked to perfection. The meat fell apart easily with just a fork. Honestly, it was the best duck I've ever had.
We finished with profiteroles & a crème brûlée, both delicious & freshly made.
For drinks, we tried two of their signature cocktails, but if you prefer something more classic (like a rum & Coke), they'll happily accommodate even though it's not listed on the menu.
If we ever go back to Quebec (I live on the South Shore), I'm definitely going back for that duck!
Overall, the experience deserves more than five stars, hands down.
J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir au café du monde. La nourriture était excellente & les cocktails de Hugo étaient sublime. De plus, la serveuse Éliane était attentionnée & professionnelle avec nous. Cependant, il n'y avait pas de musique dans le restaurant.
Had a great dinner at Cafe du Monde. The food & river views are fantastic! We had a wonderful waitress. I believe her name was Joanne. Highly recommend!
