Best service I have had in a restaurant. Kudos to the staffs. Your clam chowder is to die for. My pork chop is also fabulous. Ambience is excellent & the view is of course beautiful. Will be back for sure if I am in town.

We had a lovely evening at Cafe du Monde. The view was spectacular. The food was delicious. Our service was excellent. We enjoyed the leisurely pace with which we were served. A great experience!

We had a 2:00pm reservation on a Sunday & assumed we could order off the dinner menu. However, only the breakfast & lunch menu was available which was disappointing. There were few lunch choices but we decided on the duck confit salad & the steak w/mushroom gravy. My husband & I shared both meals. The steak was good but our favorite was the duck confit salad! The dressing was creamy with a hint of raspberry & it was very light. We really enjoyed it. Make a reservation if you go here. We were seated out on the deck area with a view of the river.

Appetizers were good. However, dinner was disappointing. My catch of the day was over cooked & bland. My son thought the Quebec burger was over cooked. Out of the five members of our family, only one of us thought the food was good. Surprised given the high ratings I viewed in selecting this restaurant.
