Cafe Pekoe, where have you been all my life? I have been searching for a coffee shop this perfect on multiple continents. The coffee is amazing, the service excellent, & the vibe is something I have not found anywhere else. Planning another trip to Quebec City just so I can hang out here.

Good food but nothing that really stands out. I liked the coffee but others in my party found it too bitter. Ratios on the cortado were way off.

A very nice cafe with very cool interior. The space is pretty huge with big benches as well as small table for seating yet it's always busy. I tried their salmon bagel which was pretty average & their tofu poke bowl which was good. The staff is very friendly & the service is quick. Would definitely love to give another visit to this cafe to try more pastries & coffee.

Good coffee; unreliable service Good café allongé - but the place tends to get crowded with students, with inconsistent service quality. I stopped going because on more than a few occasions they messed up my order. I usually ask for "double allongé 3/4". Occasionally they will drift to la la land & then give me something else -- either a single shot or just a double espresso (rather than allongé). On my last visit, they gave me a double shot in a "to go" cup. I opened the lid & was shocked to see the amount of coffee, & asked the guy about it. He reassured me that it was double shot. But dude, I asked for "allongé". It doesn't take a college degree to pay attention here.

Chai latte was good but even though I was the only one ordering, it took quite a bit. Great space but mostly filled with computer campers, I much prefer loud coffee shops where people go to hang out & meet friends. Nice place though :)

Really cute cafe with friendly staff.
We actually planned to go somewhere else, but as we passed by, the atmosphere & the options for breakfast/brunch made us stay in the Café Pékoe.
There are not that many vegan choices, but the one I had - the vegepate Sandwich - was delicious. If you’re not vegan there’s a lot of other options in bagels & sandwiches. Plus the coffee is amazing! It’s not that strong, which made it the best coffee I had while traveling Quebec.
Also I really appreciated the atmosphere. A few people where just chatting, or getting a quick coffee, some seemed to study or read. I’d definitely come back for a study session or just another coffee!
