Wish I had gotten a box of chocolates, they're so good!! I ended up just getting a few in a bag because I wasn't sure how they would taste but tried them when we got back home & wished I'd gotten a box. Very delicious- I highly recommend.
Jolie petite boutique appétissante, il y a du choix & des idées de cadeau original, dommage que le vendeur nous ait envoyé promener quand on cherchait à acheté de la glace pour pouvoir ramener les chocolats en bon état jusqu'à destination.
Their chocolate dipped ice cream alone is enough of a reason to visit Ile d'Orleans! The garden with swinging chairs is the perfect atmosphere to enjoy it in. Oh & they also make a really good espresso that can easily rival specialty coffee shops in town.
Merece la pena desplazarse hasta aquí para tomar un helado artesano. Yo elegí uno banado en chocolate y aún sueno con el.. que cosa más rica! Tiene además una chocolatería y una Zona exterior agradable para tomarlo
We skipped the gelato shop upstairs & went straight down to the chocolate shop. Amazing selection of maple products, candies, & chocolates. Had an amazing maple truffle that I wish I bought a whole set of. Perfect spot for gifts or souvenirs. Such a cute outdoor space also. Limited parking though, but worth spending time & also walking along the river!
Okay-est soft serve ice cream ever. Tried the vanilla strawberry twist, & it just tasted like store bought Neapolitan mix without the chocolate. I was really expecting something spectacular due to the sheer number of people outside & the fact that ile d'Orléans is famous for their strawberries. I was really not impressed, as someone who has access to a lot of different dairy bars in Montreal, I guess it's just not comparable, don't get caught in the hype. I'm sure the chocolate is better & can't speak for the non soft serve as I did not taste it.
Insuffisance d'explication concernant l'origine du chocolat belge, mention qui figure sur tous les emballages.. 2 versions!! Une de fausse certainement !!
Wow! You have to try the chocolate covered soft serve vanilla ice cream. They have three options to choose from- Milk, Dark or Salted Caramel chocolates. The gelato is also delicious with generous portions. We went there twice, the line moves quickly & while the menu is in French, their service in English was flawless. They have nice seating areas outside with a nice view of the river.
