Review resto thaï dans la région de Québec & de la Beauce : presque tous les restos thaï ne sont pas vraiment thaï, mais plutôt des fusions asiatiques qui partagent une certaine base commune. Les restos avec le menu le plus authentique se trouvent surtout à Lévis, & l'un d'eux s'appelle Délices de Thaïlande.
Je tiens à dire que tout était bon, malgré que ce n'était pas super thaï authentique. On a pris des soupes en entrée avec des rouleaux impériaux, & c'était très bon. Le pad thaï est un vrai classique, mais moi je voulais un pad kra pao. Sur le menu, il y avait un'pad kah pow'. Je pensais que ça allait être pas mal la même chose, mais finalement pas du tout. C'était quand même bon, mais très différent.
J'ai demandé si un vrai pad kra pao existait au resto, & la serveuse m'a indiqué que les cuisiniers s'en font pour eux-mêmes, mais qu'ils ne le vendent pas aux clients. Dommage.
Comme dessert, on a choisi des beignets aux pommes & à l'ananas avec du sirop d'érable, parce qu'il n'y avait aucun vrai dessert thaï. Oubliez le mango sticky rice ou le roti, ici c'est plus gâteau au chocolat, beignets ou pouding au tapioca.
