Honnêtement pour un restaurant dans un hôtel Jaro c'est très décevant. Un mercredi soir où il n'y avait pas grand monde le service a été très long. 1 heure avant de recevoir notre entrée & une autre heure après pour recevoir notre plat principal. Nous étions au comptoir bar & le serveur mangeait son souper derrière le bar. La nourriture était correct. Je n'y retournerai pas.
Deception total sur le menu. Menu plus restreint que lors de mon dernier sejour. De plus il manquait plusieurs choses afficher au menu dont filet mignon ,brie chaud. La salade grec aurait pu etre delicieuse si elle n avait pas ete noyer dans le vinaigre & aucun epices.j ai manger le demi poulet cornoille: mangeable sans plus.Tres decu car nous sejournont 3 jours a l hotel. Le serveur a quand meme ete bon.Je peux dire que le menu resto du quebec inn est beaucoup mieux. Chansonnier sympatique mais mauvais son & trop fort. On aurait dit karaoke.On pouvait pas s attendre parler . Je n y retournerai pas.
Un INCONTOURNABLE à Québec comme déjeuner, le dimanche! Le brunch est le meilleur que j'ai manger! ÉNORMÉMENT DE DIVERSITÉS. Beaucoup de famille à cause de l'hôtel, mais le bruits est modéré. 10/10 Merci beaucoup

Walking in to the place it looks very nice & posch. We were seated & offered drinks. We ordered & had a bit of difficulty making a decision. I chose the cannelloni with sage sauce. Looked more like beef soup on pasta tubes filled with a mushy filling. Taste was horrible & returned it. Then tried general tsao chicken, (waited almost 20 minutes for my supper) good sauce , tender chicken with veggies but noodle were spaghetti noodles!
dessert was spot on! Tiramisu! We were compensated with a no charge dessert but a bad experience lingers for a while.
Enter t'aient was a singer with a laptop & guitar. Great selection of music but was a tad loud & vocals were not that good.
Will go to hotel again but will avoid Gingers.
Nous étions a l'hôtel & avons décidé de souper au restaurant de l'hôtel afin de ne pas passer trop de temps au restaurant... grosse erreur ! Nous avons commandé un seul plat avec nos jeunes enfants & sommes restés 2h !! Nous avons passé plus de 35 minutes avec nos assiettes terminés devant nous sans que personne ne viennent nous voir ni pendant le repas, ni apres. La seule fois le serveur nous as demandé si on voulait l'addition sans meme penser aux desserts des enfants qui étaient déjà inclus & sans jamais nous demander si on voulait quelque chose.... la nourriture est correcte, mais sans plus
Saturday February 14th, reservation at 20:30. We arrived early & got seated on time. 20:35, someone gave us the menus & glasses of water… then nothing until 21:00 when a waitress asked us if someone had came to see us. We proceeded by ordering the plates we had too much time to chose, to find out they had none of either… instead of the lobster pappardelles & the short rib, we got 2 very ordinary steak & fries… The appetizer we ordered, fried calamari, came still full of oil like if they had been rushed out, so it soaked the salad underneath, which arrived at 21:15, along with our glasses of wine. The main dish only arrived over half an hour later, at 21:50. Meat was well cooked, but nothing special about the plate except that the fries were too salty. They offered us dessert, which was no where close to a compensation for what we went through. Throughout the night, a menu stayed on the table along with the appetizer plate, until another waiter came as we had asked for extra utensils… Poor service, average food, not to say the glass of wine had cost over the price of a full bottle at the liquor store…
I would not recommend this restaurant, even if you're staying at the hotel. There are a lot of other great restaurants close by!
Service aux chambres : un gros zéro pour la St-Valentin.
J'ai réservé parce que je connais bien les hôtels Jaro : habituellement, c'est toujours bon, avec un excellent service. Malheureusement, ce ne fut pas le cas ici.
On nous a refusé le service aux chambres avec le menu régulier, alors qu'il semblait très intéressant. Aux chambres, on sert uniquement un menu très limité & de qualité inférieure, sans aucune explication valable. C'est incompréhensible.
La directrice du restaurant, en plus d'avoir une attitude peu accueillante, m'a répondu de façon sèche en me disant qu'ils ne font « jamais » le service aux chambres avec leur menu. Pour une soirée spéciale comme la St-Valentin, c'est franchement décevant.
Un gros zéro. Vous m'avez réellement déçu, particulièrement la gestion du restaurant.
Les hôtels Jaro sont habituellement synonymes de magie : les serveurs & le personnel sont généralement impeccables. Mais au Ginger, il y a sérieusement du travail à faire.
Pour ma part, je n'y retournerai pas.
Elle m'à dit aussi qu'ils ne faisaient pas de service aux chambres sauf pour le menu de scrap alors qu'ils me l'ont fait la veille.
J'aurais bien aimé mettre 5 étoiles sur ce restaurant car moi & ma conjointe avons fait 3 heures de route pour aller profiter des hôtels JARO (Plaza) ainsi que de son restaurant, & ce séjour étais prévu depuis plus de 6 mois. Nous avions choisis ce restaurant pour son menu mais malheureusement le menu avait changé & rien de ce que nous voulions manger n'était disponible: aucun tartare, aucune pâtes au fruits de mer… j'ai fini avec une salade de poulet qui étais très ordinaire. J'aurai aimé profiter du buffet mais à l'heure de notre réservation (19:45h) le buffet fermait tout comme le spectacle qui était offert . Heureusement notre serveuse Jordane nous a offert un service hors pair, encore merci! Le personnel étais super sympathique mais très déçus de la nourriture.
