La Calebasse restaurant was born of the desire to share African flavors with everyone, without borders or exclusion. The only African restaurant in Quebec City, the owners of La Calebasse are convinced that Africa, the cradle of humanity, has a wealth of gastronomic riches to share.
Food can help us see others in a different light, taking us into the intimacy of a little-known culture...
The restaurant offers an original cuisine and a different culinary art to discover. Combining tradition and innovation, the owners of La Calebasse have put all their energy into bringing together a passionate and attentive team. They are banking on the following strengths:
- Occupy a niche in a context where demand for exotic cuisine is growing, by encouraging Quebecers to open up to new flavors and spices;
- Give immigrant families access to exotic products and dishes specific to their culture, and provide a space for socialization;
