Hark! On a misty morn in fair Quebec City, my noble companion Chloe did lead me to a wondrous establishment-La Chope Gobeline, a tavern most magical & true to the days of olde!
With banners aloft & goblets at the ready, we did step through the doors & were at once transported to a realm of fantasy & feasting. As loyal lovers of Dungeons & Dragons & all things mythical, we felt as though we were but moments from embarking on a grand quest (after a hearty meal, of course!).
Though my tongue is not versed in the language of the land (alas, my French is but fledgling), our gracious server did take swift notice & spoke with kindness & ease, making me feel most welcome in this enchanted hall.
& lo! The feast! Chloe & I did share a cauldron of savory stew, a divine pulled pork poutine (worthy of bardsong), & a slice of chai cheesecake so delectable it must've been conjured by wizards. Chloe also sipped from the Herbalist's finest brew-a mystical tea that warmed her soul.
We departed with bellies full & spirits lifted, our hearts brimming with joy. To all adventurers passing through Quebec, heed this call: visit La Chope Gobeline & dine like the heroes of legend!
We shall return, oh yes-we shall return.
TL;DR: Amazing medieval vibes, incredible food, & super accommodating service-especially for non-French speakers like me! A must-visit for any fantasy nerds in Quebec City! 10/10, would roll for initiative here again.

Je vous le dit tout de suite, si vous avez envie d'un petit souper tranquille ce n'est pas la place à aller. Il y a des la musique, des chansons à répondre, beaucoup de bruits ... pour un souper qui sort de l'ordinaire. Sortez votre joual, vos mauvaises manières, taper sur la table ou par terre pour avoir du service. Menu loufoque, il faut prendre le temps de le lire, vous pouvez lancer un dé pour déterminer quel sorte de shooter on va vous servir ... attention ne tombez pas sur le 1. Décor, costume des serveurs & ambiance qui nous ramène à l'époque médiévale. Merci Escarmote pour le service & ta patience face à toutes mes questions.
C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons ici & on le regrette pas!
Si vous aimez le style médiéval & la bonne bouffe c'est ici qu'il faut venir :)

Stumbled upon this amazing place by accident & couldn't have been happier with it. Visiting Quebec, so our French isn't very good but thanks to our server Arthur who was kind enough to walk us through the menu & converse in English.
The place is a throw back all the way to medieval times. The artwork, the decor, the music, menu, drinks, even the servers outfits are all themed. Food was delicious! I had the pulled pork poutine & my wife had the Innkeepers Meal. Both excellent & generous portions.
It was unlike any dining experience I've had & would love to go back there! Thanks again Arthur for an amazing service.
Mon dieu, quelle soirée de folie !! Si vous aimez le thème médiéval & plus particulièrement Kamelott, c'est l'endroit idéal ! La bouffe est bonne, à prix abordable pour l'expérience vécue. Les serveurs sont chouettes mais certains plus dans l'ambiance que d'autres. Petit coup de coeur pour le ménestrel (💓). Ça gueule, ça chante, ça boit! Si vous aimez le calme, passez votre chemin haha 😅. Sinon, idéal également d'y aller quand c'est votre anniversaire. Vous verrez la belle surprise qui vous attend. 🙃
Délicieux brunch du dimanche! Généreux, serviable, attentionné & c'est toujours agréable d'y aller en gang d'amis & festoyer ensemble. Un incontournable à Québec si vous appréciez l'ambiance médiévale.
