Restaurant typique médiéval. Super cadre, les serveurs jouent bien leur personnages, musique & ambiance. Plat copieux, art de la table aussi d'époque. Une belle expérience. Poutine très bonne. Petit bémol pour le civet de sanglier (qui n'avait pas vraiment le goût du sanglier) mais c'était très bon quand même.

Hands down the best food ive eaten in my life, amazing owner & workers & just overall great place. The owner recognized we've never been there before so he sat near us, explained the menu & suggested items. Our blue dragon drinks came in cute dragon egg glasses, water in silver pints, cool silver platers. Everything matched a medieval vibe. A lot of love & care goes into this place & its food.

This place is the real deal if you ever wanted to time travel to a medieval feast without the pesky plague. First off, the food. Oh man, the French onion soup is what dreams are made of. Seriously, it's like a bowl of happiness with all that cheesy, oniony goodness. Everything else was top-notch too, but that soup? Mind-blowing. The medieval vibes are on point. Think wooden barrels, steel mugs, & a whole lot of "ye olde" charm. It's like LARPing but with better food & no foam swords. & the cider? Pure gold. Refreshing, crisp, & just the right buzz to keep the evening merry. Now, about the minstrel. This guy was a riot! He belted out "Nothing Else Matters," the Zelda theme song, & even the Super Smash Bros theme. Who knew a medieval troubadour could rock out to video game music? Hilarious & awesome. The staff? Super energetic & made the whole experience even better. They were like the knights of the hospitality round table. Plus, they accept mobile pay. No need to juggle coins or cards, just tap & you're good to go. Check out the pics to see the feast. If you're in Quebec & want a unique dining experience, La Chop Goblin is where it's at. L'ambiance de La Chope Gobeline est extrêmement jovial. Tout le monde s'amuse, la nourriture est très bonne & l'hôte est absolument extraordinaire. Tout est dans le thème médiévale, même le menu, qui si je puis me permettre est très varié. Je conseille vivement la taverne.
