Nacho Pub is widely appreciated for its generous portions and diverse menu, featuring highly recommended nachos, poutines, and unique burger combinations. Guests frequently highlight the cozy atmosphere and the charming historic stone architecture, which provides a welcoming environment for both friends and families. The staff is consistently described as friendly, attentive, and efficient, often enhancing the dining experience with quick service and helpful recommendations. While most visitors praise the flavorful food and pleasant vibes, the convenient table service button and great location in Old Quebec make it a popular spot for those looking for a satisfying meal in a relaxed, vibrant setting.
Sub par pub food. Ordered Chicken burger, fries & coleslaw. Chicken was a prefrozen deep fried patty covered in a cheap crispy batter, not a chicken breast, misleading on menu. Fries were crispy & hot so not bad, coleslaw was OK but too much vinegar & very small portion. Service was OK. The reviews on here are misleading for a 4.7 rating, although the menu items are cheaper than restaurants nearby, it is not worth it. Seems like cheaper ingredients, lower quality food.
Ambience - Excellent
Service - Excellent
Location - Excellent
Food - Below Average : Chicken is not really chicken, it is not chicken meat. It's what they put in hot dogs. Nachos were ok but could use a bit more cheese. Salsa is from a bottle. Fix food quality & you will do much much better.

Nacho Pub advertises its nachos as the'Best in Quebec'. But, I'm certain you wouldn't need to go much further to find better. Grocery store-style nachos, canned black olives, jarred salsa, for around $21, & for $8 more they'll add a dry, overcooked frozen hamburger patty diced up to add as a protein. Seriously? Our companion had the buffalo chicken nachoes, but was not impressed with the overabundance of sauces drenching the plate. Poutine was made with frozen fries, & though we didn't try them because of price, you could get 6 wings for $15. It's a decent place to have a drink, located in a charming attractive stone building that served as a horse stable several hundred years ago. But for the cost-to-quality value, you'd best seek out another eatery.
We visited for lunch as two couples & probably should have taken the hint when the restaurant was nearly empty. We were seated toward the back, near a few other diners, & there was only one server. While pleasant enough, the service felt a bit off & was quite slow-about 10 minutes just to receive our drinks, & considerably longer for the food.
The buffalo chicken nachos were disappointing, made with what appeared to be a frozen, breaded chicken patty-the same one used for their chicken burgers. The poutine fries were also underwhelming & tasted like frozen fries, possibly from Costco. Portion sizes were small, especially considering the prices. The only real positive was the nacho chips themselves, which seemed fresh & possibly homemade.
Overall, the experience was marked by slow service, small portions, & frozen food quality at a premium price. We'd recommend dining elsewhere for a much better experience.
Cute little shop with big selection of comfort bar food, especially for a brisk snowy day. Buffalo chicken nachos were great, nice little kick of heat. Come check them out.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant, which boasts a cozy atmosphere & mouth-watering dishes. Our server, Saedric, was extremely nice & friendly, ensuring we had a great experience. The nachos & chicken wings were tasty, & the stone wall inside was a lovely touch, transporting us to a bygone era.
