We'd read all the rave reviews before booking, but actually experiencing it for ourselves completely lived up to the hype.
The only reservation we could snag was 4pm in the Dome (which is winter-only, by the way), & honestly? It didn't take away from the experience one bit.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm & welcoming, with a great walkthrough of the menu. Our hostess suggested a local white wine from just 10km outside the city, & wow-absolute steal at C$60.
& the food… where do I even begin? The oyster & octopus carpaccio appetizer was mind-blowingly good. The 2lb live Canadian lobster alongside steak & fries was incredible-but that lobster completely stole the show 🦞🔥

Nous avons brunché chez Ophélia & c'était tout simplement parfait ! Nous avons choisi de manger dans les bulles à l'extérieur, & malgré le froid, nous étions super confortables. Une expérience vraiment originale qui ajoute beaucoup de charme.
Le service était exceptionnel. Jule, notre serveur, a été incroyable : attentif, dynamique & toujours souriant. Il s'assurait qu'on ne manque de rien & ses recommandations étaient vraiment pertinentes. On sent qu'il aime ce qu'il fait !
Côté nourriture, rien à redire : tout était délicieux, bien présenté & préparé avec des produits frais. Chaque plat était savoureux, & le brunch vaut vraiment le détour.
Bref, Ophélia est une adresse à essayer absolument pour un brunch sur Grande Allée. Mention spéciale à Jule qui a rendu notre expérience encore meilleure !

Évidemment, les dômes & la nourritures étaient délicieux, mais le service est la plus grande raison de revenir. Marie a été efficace, professionnelle, rapide & charmante. Si tous les restaurants avaient Marie, ils auraient tous cinq étoiles. Je recommande les oeufs bénédictines & Marie!
Extremely personable staff - every single person in the front of house. You can feel how seriously they take hospitality here. The vibe reminded me of Jean-Georges in St. Tropez or a great restaurant along Camps Bay in Cape Town.
Seafood is incredibly fresh, beautifully plated, & all about flavor without overworking the ingredients. The scallops with caviar were outstanding. Excellent wine list as well.
Overall, we felt completely at home & genuinely cared for while on vacation. I'm a chef who's traveled the world, & I'd recommend this restaurant to absolutely anyone.
Décor typique du Vieux-Québec avec ses murs de pierre, ça donne une ambiance des plus chaleureuse. Service impeccable de notre jeune serveur William … merci ! Bouffe excellente & belle carte de vin. Service de valet parking apprécié! Je recommande!
