4 of us ate at Ophelia last night after a long day of travel to Quebec City. The food & service were both excellent. The octopus carpaccio appetizer is a standout, as is the tagliatelle with lamb. The steaks are good, the truffle salt fries very good indeed. The wine list is serviceable. I do recommend this restaurant highly.

We chose this restaurant based on its location on the winter carnival parade route, as well as overall solid reviews. It did not disappoint! Location was great. The decor was eclectic including a large oyster bar on the first floor. Tables were located on two upper floors. Staff was welcoming & knowledgeable. Nice menu with seafood & steaks predominantly. Daily oyster choices. We had oysters, homard, & rib eye steak, all fresh & well prepared, nicely presented. Ultimately restaurants as all service industries will live or die with staff. The attitude of the staff was on point. From manager to waitstaff all were friendly & eager to please. After dinner we remained on their steps to watch the parade. We were glad to see the manager allow several kids to enter the ante room to warm up, & use the washroom. Not sure if specific for this establishment but this would never happen where we live.

Lobster was a little dry but everything else was amazing! Very Chic & modern decor with tasteful house music playing in the background
Alex our server was terrific & was able to pick a beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon to pair with my steak.

We had a great dinner with good friends. The seafood was fresh & the steak was tender. Only downside was the tomahawk steak. Fatty in parts & over cooked but still tasted great.
Overall a wonderful time for all.

The restaurant is lovely & the service was warm, friendly & efficient. Everything we tried was truly delicious, highlights were the octopus carpaccio & the steak. We highly recommend Ophelia to anyone visiting QUebec City & found it to be the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary!

Belle découverte! Ambiance vraiment agréable, repas excellent (steak ❤️) & service impeccable (Alex 👍).

Great food but service was not up to par with the prices. 5 oz glasses of wine which I've never heard of before at any restaurant. The server never poured the ordered wine in a glass in front of us so it could have been any wine. I was never asked how I would like my $55 steak cooked. The server threw the receipt on our table at the end as he walked by like we were at a diner. These are just things that bother me when a restaurant has the cheek to charge top dollar for a meal & service.

Highly, highly recommend this restaurant for an amazing & unique dining experience! Our table overlooked the kitchen & we could watch all of the food being prepared right before our eyes. The décor was modern & the ambiance was phenomenal. The service was incredible & the best we have had while in Quebec City. The food was so delicious & perfectly cooked (not to mention reasonably priced for a high end restaurant). We both had the steak & ordered the gnocchi & tartilette as sides. We honestly were exclaiming how much we loved the food after every bite. We finished it off with the dôme chocolaté, which came with a neat tableside presentation.
We cannot stop raving about this restaurant. We only wish we had discovered it earlier in our trip, as we would've gone back again!
