Quite simply the best quality meal & service of my holiday! Top notch fresh oysters, served with shallot & jalap?no vinegar, super fresh snow crab with delicious homeade mayo. Then the house dish of queen scallops (pétancles) with black pudding. Everyone in this place knows what they should be doing, & how to do it! The fine touches like a proper warm water/lemon finger bowl instead of those horrible lemon wet wipes, makes a difference.
Au delà de la magnifique compagne qui était à mes cotés, la place m'a charmé, la bouffe grandiose & le service de l'accueil à la sortie n'aurait pas pu être plus parfait.

service extraordinaire, les huîtres sont vraiment exceptionnelles . l'ensemble est une expérience incroyable. Ceci étant, j'ai adoré être dans le dôme, notamment parce que le son en salle était vraiment trop fort.
Le service était bon, mais trop d'attente avant qu'on prenne notre commande. L'assiette brunch était 10/10, l'omelette champignons 9/10, mais le pain doré décadent était très en dessous de nos attentes (peu copieux, présentation ordinaire & goût décevant). Les chiens admis dans les bulles à l'extérieur: pas terrible. Il y avait du poil partout: sol, chaises, table, plaids... Il faudrait peut-être accepter les chiens dans une couple de bulles seulement & les autres resteraient propres. Pour les personnes allergiques, ce doit être l'enfer!
Une soirée incroyable en amoureux! Le service était impeccable & que dire de la nourriture qui était exceptionnelle. Un moment dans le dôme qui donnait un côté très intime & à la fois, nous nous sentions au coeur de la ville. Merci d'avoir rendu notre soirée magique.
La bouffe est immangeable (froide, sèche, mal apprêtée, etc.). Le service pour les drinks est lent ou la commande est oubliée. On réserve en demandant un endroit où l'ambiance est bonne mais on est placé dans un sous-sol. En plus c'est cher.
My fiancé & I chose Restaurant Ophelia to celebrate our engagement after having a disappointing experience at another restaurant a previous night & it certainly did not disappoint!
From start to finish, the restaurant staff were very accommodating & our waiter, Gabriele, in particular made the night an unforgettable experience. Gabriele checked in constantly to make sure we were being accommodated well & even offered to move us to a larger/nicer table when one opened up.
Additionally, all aspects of the food were great, which we also need to give credit to Gabriele's recommendations. The appetizers (bone marrow/escargot, octopus carpaccio, & clam chowder) & the entrees (ribeye & scallop/black pudding) were nothing short of wonderful.
To top it off, at the end of our dinner, Gabriele offered us an after dinner maple infused vodka in celebration of our engagement.
Overall, we had an amazing night at Restaurant Ophelia & will definitely be returning the next chance we get!
