Les tarifs restent assez onéreux tout de même (les desserts qui peuvent atteindre 20$), je comprends le coût des marchandises, car je suis également de la restauration, je suis donc bien placé pour savoir que coût de revient, qualité & prix raisonnable peuvent parfaitement cohabiter. C'est la seule ombre au tableau, mais c'est une ombre qui laisse une trace.
Sinon, la cuisine est bonne & joliment présentée pour une brasserie & le service était impeccable. C'est une belle adresse pour les fruits de mer qui sont vraiment de bonne qualité.
Great vibe & atmosphere. Gabriel, our server, was fantastic. Humorous, knowledgeable & could answer questions about anything on the menu. Food was wonderful. Our only cavit, dessert menu was subpar with no Crème Brûlée. This should be a staple. We would of had dessert if this was on the menu.
Fabulous restaurant. We ate here 3 times during our stay to Quebec City. The entire staff friendly, efficient & service excellent. The food was delicious from the appetizer through dessert. We also had an extraordinary breakfast too. Would recommend & intend to revisit.

We chose to dine at Ophelia to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, & noted such on our reservation. Since we enjoy dining outdoors when the weather cooperates, I requested an outdoor table. When we arrived, the evening weather was perfect. Ophelia, however, is located just a few blocks from one of the performance venues being used for FEQ, (which we knew nothing of when we reserved). The sound level out front was pretty high. At reception we were offed the opportunity to dine in or out. Given the weather my wife chose outside. We were ushered to a small table near a large party (party being the operative word). We were thinking we had made a mistake in coming here because even though we were sitting very close to each other, it was obviously going to be a challenge to talk to each other. Not what we equate with "fine dining". Our friendly waiter returned with an offer from the Maître'D inquiring if we would prefer to switch to a larger table further from the large loud party. We gladly accepted & moved to a table for 4 (even though it was busy) & our waiter assured us he would still be waiting on our table. Long story short, the new table improved our outlook & we enjoyed the rest of our evening. We did have a different waiter, but he too was friendly, helpful, & available but not intrusive. At the conclusion of the evening we were brought a dessert to share & we each received a very tasty Distillerie Artist in Residence Crème de Menthe Chocolat apéritif courtesy of the house. Needless to say, we were very happy with all aspects of our experience, from the management, to the cooking, & the service. The food was delicious, & my filet was prepared as requested. We would gladly return here (although if it was July, I'd check the calendar to see if FEQ was being staged). A big shout out to the staff!
We had several good meals while in Quebec for a week+ but this was by far the best by every measure. The restaurant is very comfortable & stylish inside with lots of seating options. The food & service were outstanding, & our server Sebastian was everything you would want (as noted in many previous reviews): knowledgeable, professional, friendly but not overly so , & attentive. The menu is quite diverse so whether you are wanting sea food or other, you can find something to your liking, & the dishes are not your standard faire but they are not way out there either (if you are not a gourmand). I would not call the menu kid friendly (thats a good thing!) but there are several items that younger diners could enjoy & we did see some kids dining with their parents. Drink menu is good & some very tasty specialty cocktails are available which Sebastian will be happy to thoroughly explain to you. I had the Cod dish, outstanding, tasty & a pretty decent portion. My wife enjoyed the Black Pudding & Scallops which was something equisitly different & delicious. Dont miss the CHOCOLATE DOME for dessert which can be split between two or three diners. Its a dessert, its a show...its BOTH.

Very disappointing. I had booked this for my husbands birthday based on reviews. First, service was terrible. We were seated quickly, then two tables were seated after us & the server waited on them first with orders & recommendations. He continued to walk by us & say "I'll be right back". Took 45 minutes to order. We were going to leave, when he finally came back. Took 1 hr & 15 to get our meal. Second, I asked for the cod but did not want the polento with the pancetta. He said he could switch it out for mashed potato. When the bill came, he upcharged me $7 for the change. Really ? My husband just wanted the filet mignon, no shrimp (normally $55 for that). He got just a filet with fry's & we were charged $90. How can it be almost twice the charge having the shrimp removed? Third, the table next to us had a dessert delivered to the lady with a birthday candle. My husband's birthday was not recognized even though when I booked it, I did mention it was his birthday. Not worth it. Dinner was expensive, & dinner & service did not meet expectation. Too many other restaurants in Quebec to enjoy with much better results.

La bouffe était superbe & le staff incroyable avec des attentions ici & là WoW !! & en guise de fermeture de repas , une assiette dessert offerte pour cette occasion , ma note 15 / 10

Choisis pour souligner notre 51e anniversaire de mariage .Bon choix, mets délicieux très bon service, on nous as même servit une petite gâterie pour dessert .Je le recommande fortement .
Juste un mot WoW le service était vraiment magique, le gars connaît le menu & l'histoire du repas. Les plats sont vraiment succulents & parlons du dessert le dôme chocolat un régale.
