Papa Sandwich - Quebec City

I came here after seeing a lot of positive comments on Instagram & solid reviews on Google Maps, which made me curious to try it. As a tourist, & being honest, it was nothing out of the ordinary. I didn't really see what sets these sandwiches apart or makes them special. That said, the portions are generous & the service was good. Overall, it's decent, but the sandwich itself isn't the standout.

Review du Papa Sandwich de Québec

Nous étions au Salon de la Femme de Québec &, ne venant pas de la région, nous avions une folle envie de goûter le fameux sandwich de Nate Todd. Le samedi, direction le restaurant pour satisfaire notre curiosité !

Nous avons acheté cinq sandwiches dont le ranch bacon le hot honey baby & des papa . Chaque bouchée était à la hauteur de sa réputation : généreuse, savoureuse & parfaitement équilibrée. La fraîcheur des ingrédients & la qualité de la préparation se ressentent immédiatement. Bref, la bouffe était excellente, mais le prix reste quand même exorbitant : 125$ pour cinq sandwiches. On peut dire que c'est un Subway pimpé pour les riches.

Mais sinon, good job ! Assurément, nous allons y retourner.

Excellent & savoureux sandwich!!! Le steak au poivre est divin. Les sandwiches sont gros & bien remplis.
L'attente était tres bonne étant donné le volume de clients sur place (j'ai attendu 20mins pour 22 commandes avant moi) . Un restaurant à ne pas manquer.

Removing 2 full stars because they have changed their bread to stale ciabatta. There was nothing wrong with the old bread. The sandwiches are now hard to chew, the ingredients fall out when you bite in, & the bread gets sopping wet since it can't properly absorb the sauce. Why change what already worked?
