I wouldn't have guessed when we got to Quebec City that we would eat in an Italian restaurant, but I'm sure glad we did! The place was filled with charm & character. There are lots of decorations that were fun to examine. The service was great, & the food was off the charts. I had the ravioli, & I loved every bite. The restaurant is located right in the heart of Old Quebec, so it's easy to get to other shops & eateries. I'm so glad we had lunch here!

The restaurant is an attraction in itself. We were transported to a quaint Italian villa in the heart of Quebec City. The servers were so friendly & we enjoyed talking with them. The Margherita pizza was loaded with cheese & the crust was prepared just right. Lemoncello was a great way to transition to the lovely lemon blueberry cheesecake.

We were recommended to this restaurant & it was a great experience. The staff here are all on point. A superb Italian menu. Authentic all the way. The whole experience will bring you back to Italy. Thank you to all there.

Great atmosphere, music being played in a accordion make the Italian restaurant a little bit more French, & that's mixing between cultures is a plus. Great food & service, I love the soccer balls hanging in the ceiling, I even saw a Flamengo soccer ball there, I hope they fix it because it was upside down lol, they know what I'm talking about.

My family & I are from Florida visiting Quebec City, Canada looking for & Italian place to eat at. We passed by this warm & welcoming restaurant & we were absolutely impressed with our experience. It was a very home-like experience, with personal assistance & great food. From drinks to dinner to dessert, everything was what we expected to be in an Italian restaurant! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great sit down Italian dinner with impeccable service & food!

We were enticed by the very authentic atmosphere & had high hopes for simple comfort food. My husband is Italian & greatly appreciated the decor which reminded him of his parents' house. When the basket of bread arrived, we began to have doubts. The bread was cold. Some pieces looked like they were leftovers fron another table - different texture altogether. Butter was cold making it difficult to spread. The margarita pizza was the worst he'd ever eaten - too much sauce & cheese with no recognizable margarita flavour. The pasta arrabbiata was okay. We passed on dessert & left feeling that we had paid far too much for a less than mediocre meal. We should have spoken up while at the restaurant but, honestly, just wanted to get out.

Our first dinner in Quebec City at Au Parmesan was amazing! The friendly staff welcomed our family as soon as we entered the restaurant. The atmosphere was unique & the walls & rafters had collections & memorabilia from around the world. The food was delicious, kids menu was just the right size for our kids & they loved the authentic Italian dishes. Both my husband & I were extremely pleased with our meal selection. The manicotti was perfectly cooked & delectable. The gnocchi & mushrooms in tomato cream sauce was perfect & seasoned well. Our waiter, Jonathan, was happy to assist our wine selection & appetizers. If you're in Quebec City, Au Parmesan is well worth a stop to enjoy.

Pasta looked & tasted like it literally was store bought spaghetti brand pasta, $29 for boiled noodles, some canned pesto (surely), & almost nothing else than maybe butter (no hint of garlic flavor as it's supposed to have). Wifes dish appeared to be a canned Ragu brand sauce on top of store bought spaghetti noodles too, for $20. It was edible, but I've never seen such little taste or finesse in an Italian restauraunt. I finished my "meal" out of sheer hunger & survival, not pleasure. Some of the bread they served was so stale & burnt that it cracked in half like a rock solid cracker, served with butter alone with no olive oil or anything. The service staff were nice & trying hard, & they had a live accordion player, which was charming, that's why they get 2 stars instead of one.
