GABRIEL & STELLA here. We drove from Montreal to visit & meet my cousin Joe, the accordian player/singer at Parmesan Restaurant, saturday August 22 for dinner. Its our 3rd time coming here each time during the summer season. My wife & myself we had an excellent & unforgettable FUN evening. We ordered the oven cooked Lasagna & the Steak main plates with Caesar salade & Calamari as antipastos ! The Lasagna & Steak was delicious & perfectly cooked. The Calamari had a special yummy flavor ! The waitor David is the best! He made sure he gave us time to enjoy our antipastos before the main plates. He was always coming back to us to make sure we were ok. Best waitor ever hands down! Thank you David. The accordian player Joe, my cousin, the reason we came to visit Parmesan restaurant, is a class act gentleman & an amazing accordian player & singer ! The customers were in awe & they all just wanted more from Joe ! Lucky for me, being his cousin, he played & sang to me & my wife at our table 3 times!!! Me & my wife we cannot express enough gratitude to Joe, he made all the necessary arrangements for us at Parmesan restaurant! THANK YOU COUSIN JOE ! It was also romantic for me & my wife, the marguerita & Daiquiri drinks helped!!! We also had the pleasure to meet the owner Stephane. Thank you Stephane. Parmesan restaurant is in its class of its own. A very special restaurant of its kind. The food, live music, the festive ambience & all the customers were so friendly all around. Service was very friendly & mostly quite quick. Everyone was bilingual which helped with the ordering process. Very fun environment with an accordion player & lots of old bottles.
Food was very disappointing however for the price we paid, chicken was dry & the pasta soggy (despite asking for al dente).

Over priced, small portions with food that was not memorable. Tables are on top of each other & it's very loud with the accordion player going table to table. At least everyone was signing along!

A Wonderful Birthday Celebration at Parmesan Restaurant in Old Quebec!
I highly recommend Parmesan Restaurant in Old Quebec City! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm, charming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The restaurant is absolutely adorable, & the live accordion player added such a special touch to the evening, singing beautifully in both Italian & French & creating a truly authentic & memorable experience.
The service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, & went above & beyond to make my birthday extra special. To my surprise, they brought out a birthday cake, sang a birthday song, & even took a picture of me & my best friend for us to keep as a wonderful souvenir. It was such a thoughtful gesture & made the celebration unforgettable.
The food was delicious, & every dish was prepared with care & flavor. Combined with the cozy ambiance & exceptional hospitality, it made for a perfect evening.
If you're planning to visit, be sure to make a reservation, especially if you want to dine at a specific time, as the restaurant is very popular & waiting times can be long.

Very quaint restaurant. Staff were all very friendly & welcoming. Short ribs & salad were delicious. Absolutely loved the atmosphere. The accordion player was very authentic.

I dined here once in 1999 while on vacation from Boston. We loved the vibe & the people. We came for a late dinner & the place was slow. The accordion player basically gave us a private show. For the past 27 yrs I've been recommending your restaurant to anyone I know traveling to Quebec. Any who tried it have thanked me, as they also had an amazing time. Thank you so much for the delicious meal all those years ago, & for taking care of all my family & friends who have visited since. I told them you are worth a visit, & you continue to make me a man of my word. Peace & love from Boston, MA.
