I had an amazing dinner at this lovely Haitian restaurant. I'm an Anglophone living here in Québec & have lived in NYC for 15 years & know Haitian & Caribbean food very well. I wanted goat & ordered the Tassot de Cabrit (goat meal) recommended by one of the employees, & omg 😋! Hella, gud 😋! The food was extremely tasty, freshly prepared, hit all the right spots for me - I ate literally everything, nothing left behind. I'm so glad I found this Haitian restaurant. It's very important to me to support Black owned businesses wherever I go. I was going to support this restaurant regardless. Even though I don't speak French very well, or mostly not at all, I felt welcomed, was attended to, & felt right back in Brooklyn with my Caribbean kinfolx. Thank you, Piknik, for a meal that warmed my heart & comforted my soul. I will be back again soon. I can't wait to bring my sister to your restaurant when she comes to visit. Big ups ✊🏾🇭🇹.

Habituellement, je ne mangeais plus dans les restaurants Haïtiens car je ne retrouvais pas le goût que je recherchais ou le riz qui était trop "raide" me décourageais. Mais voilà que j'ai découvert ce super resto, tout était délicieux, le service courtois & accueillant, la serveuse sociable. L'endroit l'ambiance, très bien ! Merci, je vais y retourner c'est sûr !
