This wonderful little Irish Pub is nestled in the heart of the bustling city! We are told this is the oldest Irish Pub in the city! Their food was delicious, French Onion Soup & buffalo fish bites.
The service was prompt & friendly, offering suggestions on some of their popular dishes on the menu.
I chose the outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine & the busy street offered enjoyment for some people-watching.
Highly recommended for anyone looks for some Irish food in the city!

Went there on a Thursday at 4pm. The place was already packed due to the rainy temperature. Had a fish & chip with a pint. Service was really quick & friendly. The food was also excellent. The only issue with the place was the live music that was too loud & honestly, the singer should stock to songs in French. His English ones are not great
Bel endroit, bon staff. Mais il ne faudrait pas aller là pour la nourriture. La sauce à poutine maison a fait sourciller tout le monde à notre table. Si au moins on avait le choix d'avoir une sauce normale.. mais non.
Le tartare des fish & chips n'a pas été apprécié non plus. Nous l'avons trouvé beaucoup trop vinaigré. Les morceaux de poissons étaient aussi sans saveur.
Le burger miel épicé n'avait ni miel, ni épice.
La salade de choux n'était qu'un morceau de choux coupé sans aucun ajout. Pas de sauce, rien.
Les tacos étaient moyens.
L'assiette la plus coûteuse du menu, la bavette, venait avec un gros paquet de frittes & un cup de sauce en plastique. Aucun légume, aucun sens de la présentation.
Ça a fait beaucoup de gens déçus.
Très bon menu, j'ai pris les 2 fish & chip qui son bon , très grosse assiette, ma blonde le ragoût , très bonne viande qui fond en bouche, l'ambiance est à la hauteur d'un pub, le chansonnier cette soirée là était très bon
Irish stew for $29 was small & had a few shreds of beef. Just a bowl of potatoes & peas. My friend had fish & chips. The fish was good but the chips were mushy.
Fish &chips extraordinaire. Bon vin,bonne bière,bons churros. Excellent service. Beau décor, dans la petite salle avec un foyer. Les pierres des sous-sols du vieux. Cependant, être mis (couple seul) ,dans la petite pièce ,les seuls à ne pas être dans le grand groupe (25-30?) de touristes avec leur guide, c'était ordinaire. Je crois qu'à la grandeur du restaurant, un choix plus judicieux aurait pu être fait. Nous voyions ,petit à petit, tous les convives arriver, bruyamment. Seule ombre au portrait.
Love the building & great location in old Quebec City. Was very busy & yet, we didn't wait for a table because this place is huge! The fish & chips were very good & the fish pieces were massive! Irish Shepherd's pie was tasty.
We were visiting Quebec City in early October. We walked many miles on the day we visited, & were very hungry. We were seated outside (by choice). It was cold for us Floridians, so we appreciated the heaters on the patio. We were greeted warmly & promptly had our order taken.
I've actually had some amazing poutine, so I was looking forward to trying it in Canada. We always get fish n chips at every Irish pub we visit. Service was a bit slow for food, but our drinks came out fast. The poutine was just okay…not the best I've had. The fish n chips were also just okay. Unfortunately, the fish didn't seem very fresh & it wasn't as crispy as we prefer. The atmosphere & location made up for the food. It is a very nice historic building. The restrooms are downstairs in what seemed like another hidden pub? I'm glad I took a trip down there, because it was even more authentic of a feel downstairs.
