The Pub St. Patrick was a highlight of our trip to Quebec City! The food, service, entertainment was amazing. Of particular note was our bartender/server Alexandre! He was friendly, knowledgeable, funny, & exhibited outstanding customer service! He worked so hard all evening & kept a smile on his face & gave us fast efficient , friendly service. Thanks so much!

Sadly, our former favourite place to eat when visiting Quebec City has greatly deteriorated. Both my wife's & my food were overcooked. The banger's & mash used to be a dish I would tell people was the best I ever had. Now the sausages are thick skinned overcooked messes. They must have lost a chef & not been able to find an equal. Also, I'm always astonished that an establishment selling food blast music so loud that you can't talk. It's even piped outdoors so you can't escape it. The couple next to us commented the same thing. Again - it's sad as it used to be a great pu

Understanding that the pub was not at its maximum capacity at that time.
We had to wait at the table around 10 minutes to see the menu , 15 minutes for the first course & another minute waiting for her to bring us the forks to eat... was there coffee or tea?

Stopped in for a quick bite & ordered a bowl of Irish stew. It had good flavor but no potatoes. It was beef cubes with peas & carrots & some pasty pieces on top. For$28 you think it would be a Laker bowl. The pub is huge with multiple rooms & levels to sit in. If you are an Irish pub, it would great to have Irish music playing. So we asked if they could play Irish music & they put it on.

Great scotch tastings at Pub St Patrick our Bartender Alex was amazing & knowledgeable of the single malts & flavors. He was so pleasant & helpful an enjoyable way to start our first evening in Old Town before dinner. Music was just starting before we left sounded great & the party was about to begin. Great Pub cool building & location.

Pub très bien situé au centre-ville de Québec, avec une ambiance conviviale & agréable. Nous étions 5 en terrasse & avons quand même passé un bon moment. Le service était correct & les quantités étaient généreuses. La chanteuse présente ce soir-là avait une très belle voix & assurait vraiment bien le show. Dommage cependant que le volume sonore était beaucoup trop élevé : à certains moments, il devenait vraiment difficile de discuter entre nous.

Côté nourriture, c'était malheureusement plus mitigé. J'ai pris un fish & chips à la bière que j'ai trouvé assez sec & manquant de goût. La sauce était également assez fade. La salade de chou était correcte, mais on sentait surtout le goût du chou & très peu celui de la vinaigrette, avec une portion assez petite.

Quelques petits détails ont aussi rendu l'expérience moins agréable : nous n'avons pas été servis en eau à table, une des tables était bancale & il y avait vraiment peu de lumière en terrasse. Dans les toilettes, un robinet sur deux ne fonctionnait pas non plus.

Rien de catastrophique individuellement, mais mis bout à bout, ce sont ces petits détails qui font qu'on ressort avec une impression un peu mitigée. Une bonne ambiance & un moment agréable malgré tout, mais quelques améliorations permettraient vraiment de rendre l'expérience meilleure.

Nous sommes des habitués du pub, chaque fois qu'on va à Québec. Malheureusement, cette fois-ci, la période estivale a eu son effet négatif sur le service & la qualité.

Nous avons attendu près d'une heure pour une poutine & une salade, car ils ont oublié d'enregistrer notre commande. De plus, nos deux repas n'avaient aucune saveur & n'étaient vraiment pas bons. Nous avons payé environ 25$ par plat, pour n'en manger que le quart.

Côte boisson, la bière semblait diluée, la boisson gazeuse également. Il a fallu qu'on demande deux fois pour avoir des verres d'eau.

Bref, même si on comprend que le pub est bien achalandé durant l'été, il y a un minimum à respecter pour retrouver sa clientèle.

Food was good! Had the Irish Stew & a burger! My biggest complaint was how loud the recorded music was & dirty the bathrooms were! I know its an Irish pub but.. we ate downstairs & it was late, I think the'Kids' who work there needed the music! With that said, the staff were accommodating & very nice!
