St-Hubert is one of those places that I never skip when I'm in Quebec. If there's a St-Hubert nearby, chances are I'm eating there.

Being from Ontario, there can definitely be a bit of a language barrier at times. Thankfully, my son speaks fluent French, so we relied on him quite a bit when ordering & getting seated. We did try speaking English first &, well… you're in Quebec! 😅

But honestly, it's worth any extra effort.

The food is exactly what keeps us coming back. There's just something about St-Hubert that hits differently. The chicken is always delicious, the fries are great, & that famous sauce never disappoints. Every visit feels like a comfort meal & part of the Quebec experience.

I've tried plenty of chicken restaurants in Ontario, but if given the choice, I'd take St-Hubert every single time.

A Quebec classic that never lets me down. Every trip to Quebec includes a St-Hubert stop, & I don't see that changing anytime soon. 🍗🇨🇦😋

Our Hostess Bridget was pleasant & helpful. She was very patient as we tried to order our meals in French instead of our native English. Bridget was excellent!

Came here for dinner for the first time & I was happy with the food & service. Our server Marie was very friendly. We ordered the vegetable soup, french onion soup & piri piri chicken breast meal with mashed potatoes & coleslaw. Everything tasted great, will come back again!

We had a great meal at St Hubert. Food was delicious & good value. Our server Brigitte was very attentive & pleasant & was happy to accommodate us in English as our French was not great! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal

My family & I went in for an early dinner on October 4, 2025. The restaurant was very clean with a pleasant atmosphere. The hostess & server were both friendly patient & happy to speak with us in both French & English. English menus were available which made ordering easier.

The food came out quickly, was hot & very good.

We would absolutely return.

We had a wonderful dinner. Brigitte was our server & was so friendly. I haven't practiced my French in a while & she was kind & patient with me. Offered to speak in English but I asked her to let me practice with her - & she graciously obliged.

The place is great. My husband & I had both had Peri-peri chicken, it was excellent for a reasonable price. The staff were friendly & sympathetic (because we don't speak french ;D ). Overall it's a 5 star for me 👍

It was our first time being there, the server was friendly & helpful. She tried hard to speak in English to us, non-french speaking guests. Really appreciated that! She worked hard the whole evening while I found some servers were chatting on a side.

The waitress was extremely RUDE! Went here with my family for a nice meal, however the waitress was mean. She treated us bad since the moments she saw us, she threw the plates at us & ignored us the whole time while we ate, never ask if we needed anything else. The worse part was when we paid. I leaved $5 tip & she complained saying it was not enough. The table next to us did not even leave a tip & she treat them good the whole time, their food was ready before ours even though they came after us. The only difference between us & that table was that they were native French speakers. This is totally unfair just because my French is not good, at the end of the day I'm Canadian too & even if I wasn't I shouldn't be treated like this. I will never come back to this location in case I would be treated worse.
