Un petit bijoux! En vacance pour trois jours à Québec & à notre dernier souper nous avons découvert Savini! C'est absolument délicieux & le service est impeccable. J'ai opté pour les pâtes du jour & un drink sans alcool de la semaine ! Mon Dieu que c'était divin ! Je suis à mon deuxième drink !!!

My husband & I chose to have our last dinner of our vacation at Savini based on all of the glowing reviews. Unfortunately, this wasn't a good choice. The atmosphere is fantastic however, so if you are not concerned about the quality of the food or service, by all means- this is your place. We were seated outside & greeted by a waitress who took our drink orders- a diet coke for my husband & an Aperol Spritz for me. I found it disappointing that an Italian restaurant would not have an Italian red by the glass on the menu. It took almost 20 minutes (it was not busy outside where we were sitting) for our drinks to come & our order to be taken. My husband had the Penne Alla Vodka & & I had the Gnocchi with the pesto cream sauce. A runner from the kitchen is who delivered our food. My first bite of the Gnocchi was a salt bomb- I couldn't believe how salty the sauce was. The Gnocchi was overcooked & gummy. My husband's penne alla vodka was a smooth (& tasted canned) sauce. For $29, it seems strange that the sauce did not contain onions or pancetta (this I get is optional based on taste)- hard to sell it as a true vodka sauce. I was incredibly disappointed in our meal. Not once did the waitress stop to check on us. We finished our meal & I pressed the pay button on the table light. The waitress came to ask if we wanted our bill & then disappeared for another 20 minutes. We don't often eat out for Italian food because when we can make it better at home, it's a waste of money. When we choose to, we do expect it to be good. Especially at $30/plate. Why? For what? Pasta with no protein in it &/or pasta that is not homemade should never cost this much.

If you are thinking of having a meal here- or pasta at least because I can't speak to their other dishes- skip it & find somewhere else.

I hope that this review helps someone else avoid being disappointed by a meal here. I really wanted to love it & the quality was subpar at best.

Quoi de mieux qu'un après-midi chaud & ensoleillé pour faire une promenade dans le Vieux Québec & un arrêt au Savini. Très bonne cuisine. Nous avons essayé les gnocchis & pizza Pepperoni. C'était excellent. Service impeccable.

Très bon repas chez Savini, les plats étaient savoureux & bien présentés. Le service était également agréable. Toutefois, j'ai trouvé que le menu ressemblait beaucoup à ceux de Bossini & Portofino. Ce serait vraiment bien que les nouveaux restaurants proposent quelque chose de plus distinctif pour se démarquer. Une belle soirée malgré tout !

Un vrai coup de coeur! ❤?
Le nouveau Savini est magnifique, l'ambiance est chic sans être prétentieuse, & chaque plat était absolument délicieux. Mention spéciale au service, attentionné & professionnel. Une superbe adresse à découvrir dans le Vieux-Québec!
