We visited Quebec for Valentine's Day weekend from Miami & had the absolute pleasure of dining at Steak Avenue. The food was delicious-every dish was perfectly prepared & full of flavor. But what truly made our evening unforgettable was the service.
Lea, our waiter, was outstanding-so attentive, warm, & genuinely caring. She made us feel completely welcomed & elevated our entire dining experience. Honestly, this level of service is something we rarely experience in Miami.
This restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip, & we would absolutely recommend Steak Avenue to anyone visiting Quebec City. We can't wait to return!
First time in Québec & we are so grateful for the beautiful city, culture, & its lovely people. We found Steak Avenue after a careful search for a good steakhouse that also reflected Québécois cuisine, & it did not disappoint.
From the moment we walked in, the service was warm & welcoming. We were visiting from Chicago, & as first-timers in Québec, it was comforting to find the staff friendly, helpful, & English-speaking despite my limited French. Our coats were taken for us, & we were brought into a small but cozy, dimly lit dining room.
Léa was our waitress for the evening, & she was incredibly friendly, attentive, & made us feel right at home. She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu & checked in on us throughout the night.
The food was excellent. I ordered the Wagyu flank with vegetables & garlic mashed potatoes, cooked medium-& it was truly perfection. I also tried a peach mojito mocktail that paired beautifully with the meal.
Overall, this is a wonderful establishment. Great food, great service, & a warm atmosphere. I look forward to returning on future trips to Québec. Merci beaucoup!
We had a fantastic evening meal. The atmosphere was pleasant & the service we received from Lauren was next level. Nothing was to much. She was friendly attentive & helpful, quick to respond & a true credit to the Steak Avenue.
The food was very nice we had main courses of an Avenue & a Poseidon. The meals were well cooked & tasted great. The shrimp had a fresh crunch to them & lots of flavour. The Wagyu steak was nice hower was a little under rare. Not something that bothered us to mention. The fries were really good also.
The other meal was also great & cooked well. Thoroughly enjoyable.
The wines were pleasant & we both enjoyed them very much.
Again just to mention the service was the stand out thing that really contributed to a great evening.
Laura or server was outstanding. She was guite attentive, made great dining suggestions, & was very personable. I look forward to the next time I dine here with my family!!
