Exceptional food & service, as always. I had the formule de midi with a 10 pcx choix du chef. Everything was delicious with lots of variety of flavors & colors.
Sublime food! Dessert could use some more work but that's not really what you go here for. We got the chef's choice sharing platter. It was awesome. It's just criminal how they didn't give us more of the green roll with salmon on top & the fried sushi, it was so good :(
Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir Alexandre comme chef à domicile pour une soirée sushi, & c'était une expérience exceptionnelle ! Non seulement ses sushis étaient absolument délicieux, mais il a aussi apporté une super ambiance à la soirée. Drôle, sympathique & passionné, il a rendu l'expérience encore plus agréable. Nous avions plusieurs restrictions d'allergies & des femmes enceintes, mais les options étaient toutes excellentes ! En plus, il a tout nettoyé après, laissant la cuisine impeccable. Un excellent service du début à la fin ! On le recommande sans hésiter & on a déjà hâte de recommencer !

The food was amazing & very fresh, which we greatly appreciated. However, we were disappointed by the service: Although we made a reservation, our table was not ready when we arrived, & the person in charge seemed quite disorganized. When it was time to pay, we waited 30 minutes without any staff (in our case a lady) approaching our table or acknowledging us. We only managed to pay because we approached another staff member (a guy) to request the bill. Even then, we waited an additional 5 minutes before anyone came to us, by which time we had already started getting ready to leave. This was particularly disappointing given the restaurant's strong reputation & its recommendations by renowned chefs in Quebec. We hope this feedback can help improve the service experience for future guests.
Quelle belle soirée entre amis & Sushi d'exception de chez Sushibox. Nous étions déjà de grands amateurs de Sushibox mais l'expérience de Sushibox à la maison à dépassé nos attentes. Les invités ont été conquis par la qualité Sushibox. Que dire du Chef, Alexandre, un vrai pro & très gentils. Merci pour cette super expérience. A refaire c'est certain!!
Un super chef à la maison: Jérémie Delorme. Une expérience mémorable, hors du commun, haute en couleurs & en saveurs! Jérémie s'occupe de tout, nous explique la composition des différents plats & répond à toutes nos questions. Un gars vraiment gentil & agréable! Je le recommande vivement, vous serez agréablement surpris!
Nous avons fait confiance au chef pour notre repas (en spécifiant ce que nous aimions ou pas). Nous avons donc pu goûter plusieurs choses & c'était absolument délicieux. Notre serveur était très gentil & courtois, c'était très agréable. Soirée parfaite!
Il y a 4 ans on mangeait de temps en temps dans ce resto où a emporter & c'était super bon. Je ne sais pas ce qu'il s'est passé mais c'est devenu vraiment pas bon. On a pris à emporter hier & franchement pour le prix très élevé, la qualité n'est pas la du tout!! On aurait acheté des sushis chez Costco ça aurait coûté 3 fois moins cher pour une qualité équivalente. Je ne sais pas s'ils ont changé de chef ou de propriétaire mais on aurait dit que les sushis étaient préparés par un amateur. J'aurais pu faire les mêmes! Un repas très décevant pour un prix beaucoup trop élevé!
Spectacular Sushi Gem with passionate Chef & staff! We have eaten a lot of sushis in our lives but this place just masters the art of sushi with such perfectly harmonized flavours & high quality fish! They are flavour explosions that simply blow you away! Note: lunch sushis to take out are very good but the step up to the dine in sushi is just phenomenal! Decor is minimalistic but classy which becomes secondary once you understand that the food is the absolute highlight of this restaurant, not the decor as in so many other places! I am not in any way associated with this restaurant & felt the need to share my review about this amazing place! To whomever will try it: enjoy! To the restaurant: thanks for that amazing food experience! Once back in Quebec City we will return! I would give it 6 stars if I could...
