Awesome food! Friendly service! Try the yuzu lemonade - incredible! We had the duck dumplings, tufo fried rice, & karaage! Amazing experience overall!

This Hidden spot has a great menu & a magnificent Monday happy hour after 5, yes only on Mondays. I could sample all of the small plates, each unique, in a beautiful plating, & so delicate. I tried the sake tasting & their delicious selection of beers. Do reserve on busy nights, the restaurant can accommodate small & big groups. Expect to pay about 50$ per guest.

Last today, Michelin Recommended Torii Izayaka.
Seems most good restaurants have plenty of craft beer on tap & limited wine selection.
We started with a house-selected taster of three sakes, Two fermented semi-dry sakes, one floral & one fruity, & one Sh?ch?; good for a taster.
We got an American Stout from 4 origines, highly recommended, a berry kettle sour from Boréale, excellent for a kettle sour, & a Saison also from Boréale, just good.
We had 5 different types of dumplings, from fried to steamed to boiled. Extraordinary! Also, fantastic fondue balls. Love them. Service was great!

Torii was such a fabulous discovery for us! The food is excellent (the crudo was our favorite) the beer is flavorful, & the service is the cherry on the cake top. Vincent was friendly, attentive & simply a great sport. I am certain we will revisit whenever we are back in QC.
