Our dinner at Café Buade was absolutely memorable - the food was top notch from start to finish. The French onion soup was rich & deeply flavorful, easily one of the best we've ever had. The beef was incredibly tender & juicy, melting in the mouth with every bite. My salmon was cooked perfectly & seasoned just right. To finish, the apple pie paired beautifully with vanilla ice cream, a well-balanced & comforting dessert. On top of the outstanding food, the service was amazing - attentive, friendly, & made our first night in Québec truly special.
We went for our Christmas dinner & thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience! All the staff were very friendly & the food was magnificent! For an appetizer, we had the tomato soup & the French onion soup; both were very tasty. We had the beef bourguignon & it melted in our mouths! Would definitely return!
We were seated quickly, our server was friendly, & our orders taken promptly. The place was too loud by half. The food (poutine & a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, & side salad) took too long to come out, was not hot when it arrived, & was rather lack luster. Plain white toast, warmish soup, & an under dressed store bought salad kit. The poutine was… Eh. Overall the meal was cheap & still not worth what we paid.
Super fast service, food served on hot plates. VERY polite & attentive waitresses & waiters. The food was delicious. We each had a Tomato Soup starter. Their tomato soup was divine! We shared a pizza. Food was served on hot plates. We will definitely go back! :)
