A warm, inviting stop in the Old Port, Le Café du Monde delivered exactly the kind of morning I was hoping for. The view over the Saint?Laurent River set the tone right away calm, bright, & beautiful enough to make you linger a little longer than planned.

The food matched the setting. The pain dorée with fruits was comforting without being heavy, & the other meal we ordered was on the healthier side & balanced things out perfectly. The coffee stood out even more: rich, smooth, & surprisingly included in the price of the plate, which felt like a small victory in a world where refills usually come with a surcharge.

Service tied everything together. Our waiter was friendly, attentive without hovering, & genuinely added to the experience.

A place worth returning to, especially if you want good food with a great view & a relaxed atmosphere.

Beau restaurant avec la possibilité d'être assis avec une vue sur le fleuve.

Le menu est court, mais varié, avec des saveurs bien équilibrées. Les cocktails sont très bons & bien travaillés. La cuisse de canard avec la purée de courge était excellente.

Le service est bon, mais les explications du serveur étaient très détaillées & nombreuses, donnant l'impression de vouloir pousser les entrées & les desserts.

Une très belle expérience dans l'ensemble. 🍷

Ce restaurant jouit d'un emplacement privilégié avec une vue superbe sur le fleuve, surtout de la terrasse couverte & chauffée en hiver. Ambiance agréable & accueil chaleureux. Savoureuse nourriture de bistro. Le boudin est excellent. Carte un peu courte.
