My wife & I are dined at Le Cafe du Monde at the very end of December 2023 & we were absolutely thrilled with our experience in every way. The menu was diverse & our selections were incredibly delicious & satisfying. We were also very pleased with the service that was provided by our server Gabriel who was attentive & made the evening even more special. We were certainly return again when we are once again in Quebec City.

Le temps disponible pour un déjeuner ou menu midi à 4 personnes devrait être 2h. Pour deux personnes seulement, 1h30 est cependant acceptable.

Excellent facilité de réserver en ligne , un excellent déjeuner , merci pour ma petite demande en ligne lors de ma réservation ,d'être sur le bord de la fenêtre pour vivre la beauté de notre fleuve .Ce fut un très bon & beau moment avec ma conjointe le déjeuner était délicieux & que dire de votre effiloché de jambon wow !

Bonjour, malheureusement, une expérience très moyenne, même si le service a très bien été & la serveuse très gentille & efficace. La nourriture a été très moyenne, à commencer par le fait qu'il n'y avait zéro niet rien de spécial pour la St-Sylvestre. Nous espérions un menu de la veille du jour de l'an sur place, à défaut de le voir quelque part. Mais non.
Nous avons pris la table d'hôte & d'autres ont choisis à la carte. La marmite du moment avait des mottons dans la texture. Mon risotto à la courge & fromage cantonnier avait attendu trop longtemps sous la chaleur; il était sec, le fromage gratiné en mottons dans le riz & surtout, pas de goût. Déception totale. La tartine était correcte sans être excellente.
Les bons coups maintenant: le pavé de calmar était délicieux. Mon drink, le sour boréal exquis(les amis ont goûté & c'était unanime!). Les raviolis aux champignons très bon aussi. Voilà!
Mais le plus décevant c'est le manque d'ambiance de fête pour la veille de jour de l'an, même si le décor des fêtes était là. Malheureusement, ce ne sera pas là que nous retournerons pour un tel moment. Bonne année à tous!
