La première & la dernière fois dans ce restaurant Nous avons choisi ce restaurant pour célébrer un anniversaire de couple mais après un bon début, nous avons dû signaler nous-mêmes au bout d'une heure que nous n'avions jamais reçu notre plat. Personne n'est intervenu, & nous avons finalement dû partir sans manger, sans même une excuse de la part du serveur ( un certain français). & j'ai payé 85$ pour une entrée & une bouteille de vin.Très décevant, surtout pour une occasion si importante. 👎🏻

Wonderful restaurant, staff always so accommodating & food is DELICIOUS-I take my mother every year & everytime it's a delight! She was chilly when we went & they took the time to bring her a warm polar blanket!! Who does that??? They do ♥? The view of the St Lawrence, their winding splash pool like bar area are unique & amazing!! A MUST if you're in town!!

I recently visited Café du Monde for dinner & found both the restaurant's standard & service to be highly questionable.
We ordered a medium-rare steak that arrived well-cooked, & when I questioned it, the waitress was dismissive & insisted the dish was correct.
Although they did eventually remake the steak, the initial reaction & how we were treated ruined the dining experience, making it feel like they didn't value us as customers. We still left a tip because we believe in compensating for service, but the overall experience was deeply disappointing & left a very negative impression of the restaurant.
