During my recent visit to Café La Maison Smith in Quebec City, I was absolutely delighted by the culinary experience. This vibrant & trendy café, with its enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee, offers a cozy & welcoming atmosphere that instantly draws you in. What made the visit even more special was the dog-friendly patio, where my dog Lucky could join us. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the hot chocolate. I've had my fair share of hot chocolates, but this one stands out as the best ever. It's perfectly sweet & creamy, without that watered-down taste that you often get elsewhere. Each sip was a comforting embrace of rich, velvety chocolate. We also sampled a variety of pastries, starting with the chocolate croissant. It was just right-not overly sweet & filled with a generous amount of chocolate that made each bite heavenly. The croissant itself was flaky & buttery, adding to the overall satisfaction. The star of the show, however, was the choco framboise pastry. This delightful treat offered a subtle strawberry flavor that was perfectly balanced with the rich chocolate. The pastry was wonderfully flaky & soft, making it a textural delight with every bite. It was an exquisite combination of flavors that left a lasting impression. In addition to the outstanding food & drinks, the staff were friendly & attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Quebec City, Café La Maison Smith is a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates quality pastries, exceptional hot chocolate, & a welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait to return for another round of these delightful treats!

* if you Like a Latte or Any CoFFe :+) Absolutely you must try the smith Cafe ;-) with its Excellent Sandwiches, & its Delicious Croissants, & Desserts With Very Original Flavors in The Heart of The Historical Capital Made in Quebec. * well maintained despite the large number of customers at any time of the day. * Very friendly staff, St-Jean Street is known for its high quality & variety of gourmets . * But I Emphasize This , To Passing By The Cafe Smith is To Enjoy Your Moments With Delicacies in Your Mouth :-) =========================================== * Si vous aimez le café latte ou tout autre café :+) il faut absolument essayer le smith cafe ;-) avec ses excellents sandwichs, & ses délicieux croissants, & des desserts aux saveurs très originales au coeur de la capitale historique Made in Quebec. * Bien entretenu malgré le grand nombre de clients à toute heure de la journée. * La rue St-Jean est réputée pour la qualité & la variété de ses gourmets. * Mais J'insiste Sur Le Fait De Passer Par Le Café Smith, C'est Profiter de Vos Moments avec des Gourmandises en Bouche :-)

The pastries were very delicious. But we were disappointed by the cappuccino. It tasted watery. I would definitely go there again to get croissants but would pick up my coffee somewhere else.

The croissant was likely buttery, flaky, & had a satisfying crunch on the outside, complemented by a soft, airy interior. Paired with a creamy, rich hot chocolate, it was a delightful combination of flavors & textures

Great service. Very quick despite crowds. Had the quiche Lorraine which was excellent. Went with several friends & they had from vegetable quiche to different types of croissants & pastry. They all loved it. Also coffee was excellent. Wish the place was a bit bigger as we were pretty packed in there

Wonderful aroma of coffee invites you in from the street. Croissants as big as your head (not quite but a good size). Great relaxing vibe inside. Only downside was a lack of a washroom facility as it was 'Out of order'
