I just wish they'd sweep their patio; it's filthy. It was the same when we visited last fall.
If you're looking for a place to sit comfortably while eating after trekking around the city, this is not the place. The cafe is designed to get people to leave ASAP. All of the seats are padded, bar-height stools, & when I was there, the bathroom was out of service. The food is tasty albeit costly. The coffee is excellent.
Good quality coffee. I had friendly service. No extra for plant based milk in my latte. Terrace in the back in summer. High chair seating inside. Nice & locally inspired decor.
The coffee was great but their bakery items were amazing! My partner had the chocolate almond croissant & the paste was melt-in-your-mouth outstanding. I had this brilliant raspberry & chocolate something or other pastry that I am still actively dreaming about. It was pure heaven. You know those times where you wished you picked what the other person was having? Nope, not this time / we were planning to split & share them but we loved ours so much we only just barely parted with the little samples we gave each other. This place is allllll the stars & I can't wait to go back!!
Stopped here a couple of times on our trip. Coffee was excellent, & pastries were pretty good. The breakfast items they warmed up were ok. Had a not-so-great customer service experience the second time we went, but overall I would recommend for coffee & a treat.
Biggest croissants we've ever seen! Perfect stop for a snack & a coffee.
The almond croissant was delicious that I went back in the afternoon to get some more for the trip. The chicken wrap was also good. However, I didn't like the pistachio coffee as it didn't taste anything like pistachios & the coffee was dark roasted which probably overpowered the pistachios flavour. Little too pricey given the location of the cafe. It's close to all the touristy places in old city.
A busy coffee ☕ shop in Quebec City neat Frontenac. Best almond croissant 🥐 ever. Had a nice Flat White 🤍
It's a coffee shop. So it's very busy, especially when we visit. But the 2 baristas the day we went were able to quickly & effectively complete orders for probably about 20 people with grace. It was impressive!
