Excellent pastries & hot beverages. Staff is super friendly & courteous. Bi lingual English & French. Better than any Starbucks
The macaroons are delightful! They have over 20 flavours, so there's a little bit for everyone. They're not too sweet or overpowering. Perfect shell but still soft. Only complaint is the price due to tourism, but definitely worth a try! I didn't try their other pastries, but they also looked good. The croissants are huge!
Every time I'm in Quebec City I pass by La Maison Smith for one of their hot drinks & I never get disappointed. This time we stopped at the coffee shop on Des Jardins street. This shop has a beautiful green indoor terrace that we just loved. Dot As usual, we enjoyed the pastries, the pleasant atmosphere snd the quality of the service. We had a cappuccino, a matcha, a quiche provençale & a chocolate bagel with pistachio cream . Everything was delicious.👌
We absolutely loved coffee, & the pastries were simply delicious! They made for such a perfect breakfast together!
Drop by for a quick sweets & cappuccino. The carrot cake was a little dry cappuccino was good. I would go back & try other pastries
Stopped here a couple of times on our trip. Coffee was excellent, & pastries were pretty good. The breakfast items they warmed up were ok. Had a not-so-great customer service experience the second time we went, but overall I would recommend for coffee & a treat.
Good coffee, excellent pastries. Popular, so be prepared to wait in line a bit for your order. I prefer this location (Des Jardins, upper city just below the Chateau Frontenac) with its limited bar seating, to the Notre Dame location, with outdoor tables that always seem to be completely occupied.
