We stopped by here to enjoy the view & try out their black currant ice cream swirl. The black currant is tart but balances perfectly when paired with vanilla. We also enjoyed the free samples in the boutique & educational interpretative center. Definitely recommend making a stop if you're in the area.

Bel emplacement qui permet de profiter de la vue sur le Saint-Laurent & ses environs. Personnel très sympathique & accueillant. Les plats servis sont de qualité & copieux. Les côtes levées sont excellentes. La boutique en dessous permet de déguster & d'acheter des produits élaborés avec du cassis....

The poutine & side of fries & salad here were delicious. The poutine was great-the shredded duck & blackcurrant-infused sauce were flavorful & not too salty. The chicken balls & fries were well-fried & mild enough for kids to enjoy. The salad was also lovely, with a delicious combination of strawberries & blackcurrant dressing. The chicken sandwich had a slightly noticeable spice aroma, but it still tasted good.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Quebec. The property is beautiful & relaxing, with a big beautiful terrace & lots of chairs overlooking the river. The small museum about currant production is very informative. & all of the black currant products are excellent. The black currant ice cream, swirled with vanilla, remains the best thing I ate on my trip to Canada. It's absolutely worth the drive from town - a must see!
