The food was fantastic! I highly recommend getting half the fries portion though. There were a lot of fries that came with the burger. Hugo was very friendly, spoke broken English but did extremely well, & he was fast & attentive. The atmosphere was beautiful & quiet.

This place is excellent. Their burgers are phenomenal & inventive. The patties are cooked to perfection, the buns are great, & the toppings are proportionate to the burger. So, you get a good amount of toppings with each bite but they're not falling out all over your plate. The fries were alright but everything came out piping hot. One huge bonus is that they had house fries sauces of many types. I'd eat here again in a heartbeat. I had La Bête with sun-dried tomato mayo & it was glorious.

The fries 🍟 were burned & the burger was smaller than what I expected 😕. The taste of the burger was ok.

This place is supposed to be a higher scale burger place. There is nothing extraordinary or even really good about the food. We ordered burgers. The burger was smaller than expected, which would have been fine if it was flavorful, but it wasn't. The fries were just simple fries, also not very flavorful either. Too expensive for simple burgers & fries, not worth the money. Any fast food burger place is better than this place. The best thing was the server, the staff was great. I would not recommend this place.

We recently visited Chez Victor as a group of seven. Most of us enjoyed burgers & poutine. The food was great with various options, & the ambiance was pleasant.

However, we had an unfortunate experience with the service. While I was still eating & conversing with my friends, the waitress took away my plate of fries without checking if I was done. A similar thing happened to one of my friends as well. It felt quite disrespectful & abrupt, especially as we were still clearly engaged with our meals.

We hope this feedback helps improve the dining experience for future guests.

Our hotel was across the street, & we wanted a late lunch. Decor is okay, it would have been "wow" in 2005, but you can tell it won't last, like the plastic chairs that feel like patio furniture. Super friendly staff, service was impeccable - it was late afternoon so not busy. We split a classic cheeseburger with bacon & fries with a homemade smokey ketchup. It was good, but I think the fries were leftovers from the lunch rush. But it was fine. Boreale beers on tap, with a few bottles from local breweries. A bit pricey even for an upscale burger joint. One burger split in two, one cocktail & a pint of beer set us back almost 60$ with tax & tip. Yikes, but that's 2024.

Great restaurant. The server was friendly, efficient & didn't mind answering my questions. The food was delicious & was served rather quickly. I did not feel rushed & was able to take my time to enjoy my meal.
