I've visited other Chocolats Favoris locations & have always enjoyed them, but unfortunately, this experience wasn't quite the same. Being in a very touristy area of Quebec City, you order from a window on the street, which felt a bit chaotic with multiple servers helping different customers.
The portions also seemed smaller than at other locations, with smaller portion of icecream in the cones & less chocolate when served in a cup. The taste was still good, but overall, it felt overpriced compared to other Chocolats Favoris locations. I'd recommend visiting one of their other locations for a better experience.

The highlight for me was undoubtedly the creamy ice cream, which struck a perfect balance of sweetness, enhanced by their famously rich dipped chocolate. The variety of toppings added a delightful twist to each bite. Despite the consistently long lines, the service was impressively swift, a testament to the efficiency & dedication of the staff. Speaking of the staff, they were exceptionally friendly, though there were minor challenges with English communication, which could be an area for improvement. The shop's central location on the food street makes it an ideal spot for a quick treat amid a day of shopping or before a movie. It's definitely a must-try for anyone visiting the area. In summary, Chocolats Favoris offers a memorable experience with its superior product quality & fast service, although a little more linguistic versatility could enhance the non-French speakers' experience. Ok experience. Ordered their "poutine" which are mini churros with mini marshmallows, ice cream & covered with your choice of chocolate. Chose the dark chocolate, which was pretty good. However, churros were not churros, but some type of pastry - rather soggy & floppy. Location is small, only one small table inside for seating.
