For all the English speaking visitors to Quebec Conti Caffe should not be missed. Intimate, with striking décor. Fine food, wine list, & attentive friendly service from long time staff. A plus in a time when a help shortage in restaurants can slow things, everything went smoothly from course to course. The menu has reasonable specials & al al carte choices. A less formal choice to its next door, larger & grander Le Continental. & offering value for money.

Nice quiet atmosphere & attentive service. Minor criticisms would be that the carpaccio was sliced too thin, the piccata needed more lemon & capers & the veal medallions were fairly bland.

My husband & I enjoyed a delicious meal at Conti the other night. I had the salmon fillet & he had the veal medallions. Both meals came to our table on warm plates heated up & the food was piping hot. The portions were very generous. The service was attentive, timely & friendly. Overall, I would return to this restaurant for another meal & or recommend it to anyone who travels to Quebec City.
