Went here twice, once for happy hour & again for a dinner reservation. Happy hour was great with drink & food specials, though we waited quite a while for the food to come. Friendly & attentive staff. We returned another night for a dinner reservation. Staff were again attentive & friendly. The food wasn't great. The two soups we ordered, Lobster Bisque & Turnip Maple, were heavily peppered so when more fresh grinds of pepper were offered, they weren't needed. We love black pepper, so a non-issue. The second course, Lobster & Asparagus Risotto, came out with no seasoning at all! There wasn't a bit of salt in the dish & it could have used fresh pepper but we declined when offered given the first course soups were heavily seasoned. We were also offered fresh Parmesan for the risotto but declined because it's Lobster. Of course, short of getting up to grab pepper ourselves, staff were impossible to track down & there wasn't a salt shaker in sight. As a result, we didn't enjoy our food. As well, my risotto was loaded with lobster; my spouse's dish had far less. This inconsistency is a turn off. Dessert, sugar pie, was a nice end to the meal. Overall, an okay meal in Quebec among okay meals. Still looking for good food in Quebec…
We made reservations here by mistake (confused it with another place) but what a pleasant surprise once we dined! I had lobster bisque & beef bourgignon. Wife had lobster risotto. All were outstanding. Service was very attentive.
Excellent lobster roll, lobster bisque, great Sauvgnon blanc, wonderful service & very nice atmosphere! One of the best lobster restaurants in Quebec! Highly recommended.
The restaurant was recommended by a local. This location was perfect & the interior is lovely, & Max (waiter) was fabulous. The food was delicious (fresh crab with homemade pasta & shrimp in lobster bisque with creme brulee to finish). The owner greeted us & was welcoming, checking on us several times. Highly recommend this gem.
It was fantastic, great service, they took care of my wife's allergies. Lobster bisque, foie gras, & gravlax for starters. For mains we had lobster salad, 2 lobster rolls, & veal medallions. A nice bottle of Ripasso, a G & T, an IPA, & a couple of cocktails I can't recall.
Chef's special veal dish was undercooked. The sauce was not overly flavorful. The lobster pasta dish sauce was not very tasty. The lobster in the pasta was good. Unusual to have butter for bread provided in single serve sealed containers. Would liked to have fresh ground pepper rather than a basic pepper shaker.
Super meal. Lobster salad. Grilled salmon. Lamb shank. Veal medallions. All tasty & well presented on piping hot plates. Many gluten free items clearly marked on menu.
Stopped in at 12 o'clock. Restaurant next-door had 40 people online. I walked into Conti & sat at the bar instantly. I'm glad I did. The food was really great. I had a lobster roll, best I've had since Bar Harbor, Maine.
Delicious wine & fabulous food along with great service made for a memorable experience. Loved the Lobster Bisque, Salmon & Beef Bourguignon & the Strawberry Shortcake was almost too pretty to eat. Highly recommend!!!
Our dinner at Conti absolutely exceeded our expectations. Our server Emeralda was wonderful; friendly & attentive. We shared the Chef's Antipasto platter, which came out looking beautiful. No crumb was left behind. For our mains we had a lobster risotto, penne, ravioli & a burger. The risotto came with a good amount of lobster, topped with a beautiful piece of filet mignon. The penne had a nice homestyle tomato sauce & fluffy meatballs. The burger was so good that the ketchup didn't even get used! & finally the chef's ravioli with chanterelles that were full of flavour & great amount of mushrooms. There was no room left for dessert after we finished our mains. Highly recommended by our family!
