I have been to your restaurent once before & to the Continental numerous times over the years. The female waitress that served us that night was hanging over the railing instead of coming to our table to serve our food resulting in her knocking over our tiramisu dessert. She seemed a bit disorganized in presenting our bill. After settling my bill, she came back to tell me that I owed her an extra $20 because she had made a mistake in entering the amount on the credit card machine. Which was not the case, we had paid the right amount. Anyway, it left us wondering.

The kitchen failed to put the lemon viniagrette on the salad that came with my salmon entree. The salmon was cooked perfectly however. A party of 4 was seated beside us. They brought in a very large dog that may have been a St. Bernard. The dog was allowed to stay in the restaurant & we could smell the dog. It certainly was shocking & inappropriate as we were expecting a more upscale dining experience. We could not believe it. We would never have made reservations there had we known dogs were allowed in the restaurant. Because of the dog issue, we will not be returning on our future visits to Quebec city.
