We are in Quebec to celebrate my birthday. We had dinner at Château Frontenac, & Conti is so outstanding with their service, with the food (we had the petite, filet mignon, & the halibut, along with the most amazing salads, which included, homemade Caesar dressing,).. It puts the frontenac server to shame. Yeah The food was so delicious! & to top it off for dessert they have a Yule tide log!

I have been to your restaurent once before & to the Continental numerous times over the years. The female waitress that served us that night was hanging over the railing instead of coming to our table to serve our food resulting in her knocking over our tiramisu dessert. She seemed a bit disorganized in presenting our bill. After settling my bill, she came back to tell me that I owed her an extra $20 because she had made a mistake in entering the amount on the credit card machine. Which was not the case, we had paid the right amount. Anyway, it left us wondering.

Escalope de veau parmigiana trop cuite. La salade estivale très bonne pourquoi les bâtonnets de fromage frits. Encore une fois trop cuits donc friture sans fromage. Oubli de pâte avec une escalope. Reçu dessert en compensation . Nous préférons recevoir un bon plat principal plutôt qu'un dessert pour compenser les erreurs en cuisine. Le cappuccino n'est certainement pas le meilleur en ville!! En espérant que ces commentaires vous seront utiles.

I had the beef Bourgogne & it was slightly disappointing (the meat tasted like ordinary roast beef) but my mashed potatos were hot & good! My husband loved his filet steak. A friend was disappointed in his penne pasta with sausage & another friend liked her fish. Next time I would not choose the set menu as the dessert surprise was terrible- some sort of savoury not sweet cheesecake with a hard crust - very disappointing & wish we had paid more for a different dessert. We all 4 disliked the dessert. We had dry water glasses & had trouble getting the waiter's attention.

Very good. The service & food were excellent. Was there during strawberry season so the strawberry shortcake special dessert was fantastic. Would return if travelling to Quebec in the future.

Fabulous dinner. The veal & salmon dishes were delicious. We had an antipasto platter as well Desserts are fabulous & the service couldn't have been better. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I had the halibut & my husband, a steak. He said that his steak was very good. Unfortunately, my halibut was awful. If I'd made this at home, I would have been disappointed in getting it so wrong. It was chewy, tasteless & cold inside. Clearly undercooked & totally lacking in culinary creativity. . I left about a quarter uneaten. Our waiter did not bother to inquire about our meal satisfaction when he cleared the table. Our desserts of shortcake & crème brûlée were delicious. I mentioned my disappointment of the halibut when we got the bill & the reply was an off hand "sorry". The experience left me extremely disappointed in what I had hoped would be a special night out.

WOW!!!!!!!!! Vraiment impeccable. Restaurant très beau, une superbe ambiance. Le personnel plus que courtois, souriant & toujours près à nous servir. Parfait pour un souper romantique. La nourriture (bouffe) c'est à couper le souffle. J'ai pris le filet mignon il fondait dans la bouche. Les légumes étaient juste à points. J'ai pris la salade césar & je ne l'ai pas regretté. Tant qu'au dessert, pfiou, il était à tomber par terre. Vraiment je pourrais lui donner une note supérieure mais il n'y en a que cinq. De toute façon je le recommande à 100%. & c'était la même chose pour mon mari son repas était tout aussi succulent.
