Dorsay British Pub – A door to history

Since 1987, Dorsay, like Le Gaulois since 1987, has been part of the landscape of Old Quebec. Founded by Marcel Veilleux and taken over in 2024 by his son Christian Veilleux, along with Lyne Blackburn and Marc-Olivier Germain, Dorsay continues the tradition of true British pubs: warmth, camaraderie, cold pints, and tasty dishes.

In the heart of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac, our gastro pub cuisine, created by chef Benoit Poliquin, celebrates local products: seafood chowder, bangers and mash, fish and chips, homemade blood sausage, London BBQ wings, and much more.

In occasione di un soggiorno di due giorni nella splendida Quebec City abbiamo cenato in questo ottimo ristorante, su consiglio di una guida locale. Siamo rimasti talmente soddisfatti che siamo tornati anche a pranzo il giorno dopo.
Squisita la zuppa di cipolle e la Cesar salad tiepida, fatta veramente ad arte, con ingredienti freschi e abbondanza di verdure.
Ottima birra.
Bel locale, in posizione centralissima, servizio impeccabile, prezzi giusti. Da provare!

Was a cool pub. I had bangers & mash that I really liked. My wife had mussels & fries, she was not impressed. Was an English pub so there was not a ton of flavor in the broth. We are used to more punch when it comes to mussels. The poutine was ok a bit salty. We have had better here in Quebec. The pub itself is very cool inside. I felt transported to London.
