Dorsay British Pub – A door to history

Since 1987, Dorsay, like Le Gaulois since 1987, has been part of the landscape of Old Quebec. Founded by Marcel Veilleux and taken over in 2024 by his son Christian Veilleux, along with Lyne Blackburn and Marc-Olivier Germain, Dorsay continues the tradition of true British pubs: warmth, camaraderie, cold pints, and tasty dishes.

In the heart of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac, our gastro pub cuisine, created by chef Benoit Poliquin, celebrates local products: seafood chowder, bangers and mash, fish and chips, homemade blood sausage, London BBQ wings, and much more.

Very nice place. Great food & service. Very Busy!! We had mussels with frites. Some drinks. With tip was over a $100. My suggestion is to make a reservation online. For lunch be there at 11:30 when it opens.

We made reservations & hence had expectations, however we found hair in our drinks & pasta which is unacceptable. The server just called us lucky to have found hair...

Good burger & fries, but smoked salmon starter I don't recommend, it felt like twice defrosted & really overpriced for that tiny piece. In general good service, except that we have asked for our drinks with the meal & got them way before the the meal, so they started to get warm.

We enjoyed our visit to the Pub D'Orsay on Dec. 7th. Great food & impeccable service. Victor, our server, was very helpful when we ordered our drinks & food & his follow-up was appreciated. We visit Quebec City 2 to 3 times per year & Pub D'Orsay is definitely on our list of "must visit" places.

Pub D'Orsay staff were friendly & in spite of very large tour group got us a table after 40 min. Meanwhile we sat at bar w drinks & appetizers. Dinner very good, & service excellent.

Terrible kitchen service. We had hopes for a good meal. Unfortunately it never happened. We waited 20 minutes to order. Appetizers & drinks came 20 minutes later. Our entree of paella for 2 never arrived after another hour of waiting. We paid & left with no apology from anyone.
