No fish n chips, no poutine, no bangers & mash. Only salty tears are on the menu.

This is one of our go-to restaurants for lunch in Quebec City. Yesterday we experienced the revamped'British pub' for the first time & it has definitely found its niche. The fish & chips were excellent, as was the'Sunday roast' poutine. We had made reservations (recommended) as it was a perfect fall Sunday, & the city was as vibrant & colourful as you could wish for. We were told to expect slightly slower service than usual but this definitely was not the case. Nancy was welcoming & friendly, & added to our enjoyment of our meal. We'll be back!

Im from NS & I went here for the first night in quebec since it was nearby where I was walking. The restaurant is super appealing inside & looks awesome, all the waiters & waitresses have phenomenal English & are super easy to understand. The waiter accidentally screwed up my order & gave me a burger instead of poutine but he was probably one of the nicest people ive ever met in my life. He repeatedly told me sorry & made sure I knew how sorry he was & he said he never screwed up orders & I could tell he was genuinely worried I was gonna report him. He was insanely nice & paid for my food & drinks plus the refills he gave me for free on his part for screwing up. One of the nicest guys ive ever met & even if he just screwed up the order & didnt pay, I wouldnt be mad just because I didnt mind being in the restaurant because its awesome. After he served me I watched him take a picture of a family because they asked him to & he got on the table & started dancing before taking the picture & I can tell people definitely love the guy because he is an awesome waiter. He definitely loves his job & I can tell he wants to have the best & most perfect reputation he can for his job.

An amazing spot for lunch! Offering great views with a cozy atmosphere. & absolutely delightful food! I loved the salad! The beef poutine so so delicious!

Food was ok, the hamburger i had was really small especially the meat, but really tasty.
They brought me a little glass of soda, full of ice, who's drinking so little liquid on a hot summer day, i had to return it to ask for less ice more soda, Why not put sodas in the same size glass as your beer?

I asked for ketchup, they brought a little cup, oh i didn't see it was that small sir sorry can you bring another one.
Don't be impressed with the size of the poutine, the bowl is really shallow & narrow at the bottom, only wide at the surface giving you the impression of a normal portion.
They're cheap on everything here except for the price.
I had to get food somewhere else, i was still hungry, i would not come back.

It was'ok'. Poutine was fine but honestly what we had at the airport was better. Cheese had no squeak, gravy was bland & fries were just ok. Won't likely be back.

Poutine was fine but certainly not the best we have had whole in the area. Nice atmosphere with outdoor & open air seating.

Great food, great service! Thanks for allowing us to sit in the patio with two dogs today. The servers were very attentive & friendly. We enjoyed everything we ordered including poutine, calamari, & blue cheese mussels. Cold draft beer was a lifesaver on a hot summer day.

On s'est arrêté ici pour manger diner pendant qu'on marchait dans le vieux-Québec. Le service a été impeccable de la part des serveurs! Mon conjoint a renversé son cocktail par mégarde & il a reçu un autre verre gratuitement sans même qu'il le demande! La poutine Sunday roast est vraiment bonne! Malheureusement, je peux seulement donner 3 étoiles parce que mon conjoint a eu un problème avec la bavette de boeuf AAA. Il l'a demandé medium saignant & c'est revenu à point. Il lui ont fait une autre assiette & c'était encore la même chose! On a fini par laisser faire.

Amazing service. Great food. Awesome view. The server spoke both English & French & was super attentive (best in Canada!). We got poutine & a variety of local beers. The poutine was authentic & squeaky & the beers were so unique! Would definitely recommend & will definitely be back.
